This song. For someone like myself who never show emotions, who cried perhaps handful of times in its life. This song pierced me like and arrow to the heart. As i experienced loss in my life (family members and good friends) i often didnt show anything, everything was kept inside of me. Till i listen this song for the first time around 10 years ago and result was, well let says my eyes open like a waterfalls. Remembering those i lost, remembering all good and bad things to that point of life, even 10 years later this song still make my eyes wet, now someone can call me sissy or whatever, i find out that there is no shame to cry when is required, it is what make us humans.

Though the lyrics are definitely inspiring… the “we walk the Earth alone” breaks my heart every time. Because it’s realistic af. That line reminds me of a quote from JJK which as I remember was “no matter how many people are around you, when you die you’re all alone”, or something like that. I have a hard time of my life. Depressed and alone. Such songs always seem deeper when you experience the darkness of your soul. It’s sad, but goddamn it’s powerful.

So, let me take a swing at interpreting the main lyrics and see how many agree with my version: "We sail the seas of life and beliefs" Life and beliefs are like the sea in the sense that there are infinite directions to travel towards. Countless beliefs and paths of living. "The storms will lead us home" Storms are the bad things that happen in our lives. Just like a storm at the sea can change the direction of the boat, so it can be in life. And these storms actually point you towards the path of good. "These open roads will call us with a promise" The paths of life are open to everyone regardless of status etc. However, to tread on the field of life comes at a cost which is "We walk the Earth alone" Which in essence is true because noone can really get to know you, the real you deep inside. No matter how many friends you have, no matter if you re married, deep down you know you are all alone. Except for God ofc , but we 're talking about other humans playing the same "game" as you. In the end, its just an awesome really powerful song that makes my heart feel so heavy and free at the same time. Its tragically painful and pleasant at the same time. Its one of these miracles that can unite opposites into a paradox.

Considering the fact that you (Video Editor) dedicated time to adding the subtle effects this video contains, I guess I can say that at least someone understands the power within this song's notes to shine light to the darkest depths of one's soul. I've seen videos that profane this sacred music as a background tune to outdoor sports such as skydiving or kayaking. It is almost blasphemous.
