Glock 17 versus Glock 19X

@@rxn7It’s not a factor. No one in competition uses the 19X or other “mullet” handguns. They use Glock 34, CZ Shadow, etc size handguns. All these perceived benefits of the 19X evaporate the second you touch competitive or professional environments.

Solid comparison. There is just something about the 19X. I like them so much, I bought two! For some reason, I like the 19x better than the g45 as well. Not sure why. I would assume the G17 has a bit less recoil. Sure, there is more reciprocating mass, but you have a longer recoil spring and more to absorb recoil. Most of my full size firearms have less recoil than their compact counterparts.

I wonder why you would choose the g19x over the g45(other than color)??? Same size and capacity but the g45 uses all the double stack g17 mags and larger where the lanyard attach pt on the g19x limits options and the g45 comes in an optics or (mos) version?!?!

Flaired mag well no night sites on 45 the 19 x is the game best Glock made I do not care for fat flaired 45 well on it the 19 x has night sites and is the king of Glocks now new breed

Great review. My opinion a better comparison would be to put the 19x against a 17 Gen 5. To me that would be more accurate. My opinion is that the 5th generation is better and the 19x fathered that gen. Even though the “better” margin is slim because all Glocks are an excellent choice.

I've never been a big Glock guy. I do have a gen3 G17 RTF (complete with fish scale serrations lol) that I will never sell though. The HK VP9 is my jam. I just shoot it better than my Glock. However, I have been considering picking up a 19X simply because everyone says it shoots like a dream. Love that FDE too. Enjoyed the video.

I just joined your channel good information. My background is, I'm a retired Police Sergeant with over 41 years in police work. I've been a Firearms Instructor for over 24 years. Both concealed handgun license to carry and departmental. I know Glock’s inside and out. Looking at your 2 Glock’s, you're 17 in your 19X. Got them both. I'm not sure, but It looks like it's sandpaper grip panels on them. If they are tell the people watching that The sandpaper grip will tear up your clothes. I had an officer that had them on hers torn up her uniform. They're extremely hard to get off the Glock, extremely hard. The rubber ones not so much, but the sandpaper ones will tear up your clothes. I'm GDoc, The Glock Goc.

Both great fighting guns but the 19 x rules due to a little shorter means u get it out faster it's just the new breed of Glocks that is the best of the best on planet a 19 x is Glock s best gun to date just a cool gun to own and when shf nother gets better Glocks run and the work when other fail snow ice mud sand water go Glock
