Detailed review on the gen 4 glock 27, for concealed carry use. I go over the changes of the gen 4, by comparing them to my gen 3 glock 26 and also over the likes and dislikes of the gun

"Unless you're anorexic or something like that, you should be able to handle this .40 caliber gun..." Love it. First time gun owner and I snagged a G27 gen 4. Head over heels for this gun.

He got that funny humor! I chucked but also remembered a good point: you are as good as you train. I’m a 5’3” 115 lb female and can shoot a 40 cal Glock better than some of my guy friends who are six feet and shoot 9 mm. It is all about your training :)

Just recently took some round files to a G27 gen 2.5. A trigger guard undercut makes it much more ergonomic and comfortable as does Pearce PG-2733 pinky extensions with the top lip shaved off to stop pinching. Also, a threaded G23 barrel gives 100 more fps to Underwood 200gr Hard Cast. All that, plus a 9/16-24 compensator gives faster follow-up shots against lions, and tigers, and bears, oh my! Woods carry ready!

Great review on the Glock 27 gen4. I have one on layaway at my LGS here. My wife gave me a gen3 Glock 26 last Christmas. i have over 1000 rounds through it. The only malfunctions have been ammo related. Shooting cheap steel case Monarch ammo from Academy Ive gotten anywhere from 1-3 light primer strikes per box. The striker hits the primer, the primer doesn't ignite. Gun no go boom. Other types of ammo, and I have fired many types, have all worked in my 26. Stay safe,

I like my 27. I've only put a few hundred rounds through it but have had no issues. Thanks for the video!

I just bought one used and I haven't got around to shooting mine yet ...... I believe I'll like it once I get used to the Gun and The Recoil..... I've never shot a 40 cal pistol

Thanks for the review, heading to gun show this weekend! FYI, here in Oregon it's $10 for CHL certificate, and $65 to Sheriff, so $75 total, no reason to not have the option to carry.

I just bought my Glock 27 Gen 4 last week. All I can say is I’m in love. I own many of handguns from 1911s to 9 mm compact and full-size. I love them all I’m not partial to one gun. This is the first 40 caliber that I have owned and I must say she’s definitely accurate even with the factory sites. Do I wish glock would do some upgrades to their guns that I believe should be standard on all their glocks, for example their sights is one thing that should be upgraded and come standard on all their weapons. Example would be night sights or Something along that line.The factory sites Get the job done but overall are not very aesthetically pleasing.But overall that’s an easy swap out and I’ll be doing that here shortly as well as I ordered the Lonewolf barrel conversion kit and some 9 mm mags, this way I can shoot 9 mm through my glock 27. Overall I’m very satisfied. Nice video by the way!

The Glock 27 is my favorite ccw option. I've carried a 3rd Gen G27 for 6 years now. I carry it in a IWB Galco kydex holster also with a LaserMax fully integrated laser sight. My favorite SD load is 180gr Federal Hydra Shok

I was wanting to get the 26 in 9mm, but living in Alaska now... Maybe I want that little bit of extra punch from the .40 Cal.

You can shoot lead reloads from a glock barrel. It's a myth that you can't. I found that the glock barrels foul less than standard rifling barrels. Any barrel will blow up if you don't clean the lead out of it. I shot 400 rounds through my g19 and cleaned it when I got home and did the same again. No issues

I know i love my 27 gen4. first 161 rounds i shot seller n ballot rounds 180gr and had 4 shallow strikes i believe it was the ammo based on research and last 352 rounds flawless very happy with this weapon myself. seller n ballot had complaints of hard primers and i agree based on above statement.

How is the range (price + the rules ) ? I usually go to action impact in southfield off 8 mile or target sports in roseville. Looking for a cheaper range.

One of my favs for summer, I've been trying to get some hydra shock's, since I like their nyclad ammo in my .38 special. But as you know this whole ammo shortage is preventing that. Are the batteries easy to find for you laser sight ? I'm thinking of adding one to either my g26 or the 27

The gen4's are ambidextrous. You can switch the mag release to lefty. And or slide release, just use the slide to rack instead of the slide release

It's not too hard to handle, just not my first choice for a range gun (100-200 rounds). It's my main carry gun again as of a month ago, because of the warmer weather.
@b4ssfunk3d5 ай бұрын
It's a hot round but it's a good concealed carry gun because it packs a huge punch in a small package. You really have a hand cannon with the .40 in a subcompact especially considering you're shooting JHP rounds compare the ballistics to 9mm and .45 and you'll be surprised how well .40 does almost everything better.
@9unslin9er7 жыл бұрын
Of the 3 standard baby Glocks (26/27/33). .40 works the best. Big and slow. .40 simply gets adequate spin out of the short barrel. Both 9mm and .357 are moving way too fast. Detrimental for accuracy.
@lrg8636 жыл бұрын
Interesting because I feel the same but only on the sub compact 27 I don't feel the same about my 22 31 & 32.

brand new 27. i can only fit 8 rounds, in all 3 mags. is this normal, until break in period?
@BatteryGeekReviews5 жыл бұрын
Yes, getting that 9th round in may take a day or so for the spring to loosen. Felt like I was going to break a finger when my mags were new.

Glock 27 is my favorite so far I’ve had the glock 43 but it’s not enough and don’t hold enough bullets if your looking to buy the 43 keep in mind it’s a single stack and only holds like 7-8 rounds not a terrible gun but not the best😂

5 to 10 feet and up to 7 yards and you make sound like its that long of a distance? Even at that, 4 to 5 inches grouping? You should practice accuracy more. At that distance, the baby Glock should be as accurate as a compact or full size. No excuses..
