Just received my Glock Performance Trigger to replace my Timney Alpha, which I liked, but didn't love. Timney had a great idea, but was limited by having to fit within the stock trigger housing. The GPT feels much better, safer, and near perfect with a minus connector, and a lighter striker and plunger spring.

I had just installed the Overwatch Precision TAC Trigger bar & shoe for my G19X. It's great with my Dagger upper installed but not so great with my stock 19x upper. I already have 1 of these in my cart & I'm about to buy. Johnny Glocks show a consistent 3lb pull without a reduced trigger spring kit, which I have. $100 beats $180 for the Timney

I have installed these over recent days (my personal GPT is on the way). All of the base OEM safety features are totally intact despite the fact the striker is fully cocked. I'd have zero issues carrying with this trigger after my tests this last week. If there is a drawback it is the shape of the trigger shoe and the reset going so far forward (as a result of that geometry) which for me is like the Apex trigger. Johnny Glock has tested and certified his VEX shoe will work with the GPT and can be fully adjusted for reducing takeup. I'm good on the guts of this trigger, just think it deserves an adjustable shoe designed and made by competent machinists/gunsmiths. And yes, Glock has tested the living hell out of this trigger, it will beat the Timney all day long on longevity and reliability.

Dude it’s really really easy to do, Trust me. Watch a video or two of how to disassemble a Glock frame and it drops right in. It’s very easy and Glocks don’t require tools. All you need is one small punch to push the pins out of the frame. Quick tip you don’t need a hammer. The pins need to be punched out by hand only.

I've seen glocks modded out to over $1500 in parts & that's not even top tier lol. For the same price as an uber glockenspiel, I got two pistols & parts; both of which are better than a glock according to glock owners that won't stop asking permission to fire them lol. I just had one installed on my Glock 45 and I like it. Dry firing is nice, but live fire feels way better. I had 500 rounds through it and no issues. That said, the pull weight is lighter than 4lbs and the verbiage used on Glock’s website is “performance”, not “carry/duty”. Why is that important? Because having a lighter trigger pull on a carry gun opens you up to potential issues when used in a self defense shooting. Yes, it’s an oem part, but if Glock intended it to be a performance/competition trigger, and you use it for carry, an attorney will claim that you didn’t use it for its intended purpose and that it’s a modified handgun. This doesn’t mean every attorney will go that route, but you’d be surprised with the stuff lawyers pull in court, even when you are justified. If Glock intended it for carry or duty, they would have likely worded it as such, but they didn’t. Could it be to get out of liability? Possibly. I called and asked them and the representative didn’t know the answer to the question. Kinda weird, so I sent an email with proper wording and will hopefully get a response. But if you’re not carrying it, it’s fantastic.
