Regarding the apples, according to the mod developer Tallman Brad they were supposed to work as a repair kit/fuel for horses. You would hold it in your hand and click on the horse to feed it. Unfortunately, A21 code broke the functionality of this before it could be fully implemented. It's a known bug that TFP has to fix before that can be implemented. It's a bummer, because what he had planned for that was really neat. Hoping it gets fixed soon so it can be implemented.

It could create a "sheriff vs outlaws" series. Even do like there Bill-board series with lives. Each of the "outlaws" have a set number of lives including the sheriff.
