Quick way to remove your trigger pin on your G43X (works first time every time) remove your slide and then have a 5/32" or 3/32" pin punch at the ready, now first with your thumb raise the slide stop (against its spring tension) straight up and at the same time apply light pressure with your pin punch to the trigger pin and immediately allow the the slide stop to "SNAP" downward as you apply a very slight amount more pressure to your pin punch it's a 1,2,3, guarantee.

I love the stock trigger pull weight. It’s a deliberate enough of a weight, that I don’t worry about accidentally pulling the trigger. However, I just want a more comfortable trigger shoe, and perhaps a better travel and reset.

We call the set of typical mods, including this one, "Lennyizing" your Glock. HIGHLY recommended, no failures in parts or operation so far, and the 3+ lbs (not measured, but very noticeably lighter) pull really help with accuracy. Lenny, you ROCK!

Keep in mind that a Double Diamond connector as well as a Ghost pro trades more leverage for more trigger pull distance, which kind of cancels what Lenny said at the beginning. To accomplish the stated objectives that Lenny first stated can be done with the following: 1) Polish the internal parts. 2) Replace the OEM shoe with one that can dial out pre-travel ( or perhaps both pre-travel and overtravel). 3) Install a device that limits overtravel such as a modified trigger housing with an overtravel reduction set screw (now available for the 43x/48) or Ghost PRO connector. 4) Choose the appropriate striker spring to finish the assembly construction with a 4.5 or 6 pound spring. 5) Install a reduced power safety plunger spring [which won't reduce the trigger pull weight but make the pull smoother]. For about $45 you can purchase a new shoe and housing that will do everything for you. The 43x's connector will stay crisp yet the pull will remain short and as heavy or light as you want it to be. Again, the Double Diamond and Ghost connectors might be ideal for some, but they will produce a "rolling" break rather than the OEM connector's "crisp" glass rod break. .

My carry gun is stock.y p80s have triggers. I prefer the stock. It just works. Once I started swapping connectors and springs and trigger bars. I had nothing but spotty Subpar Glock performance. I have a Vickers trigger shoe on the stock bar on my carry gun. It's perfect. All OEM internals. Rmr slide optic and wml. Goon tape. It's a battle weapon forsure. I'm 100 times better with my Glock as it sits than any other weapon I own. Except maybe the 10/22 nail driver with bsa sweet22 scope. I love that rifle.

I just have to thank you for the ar 15 dry fire training dvd circa 2003. Im so happy you are living your life how you are. Moving out of California taking glock store to the next level. I moved to Texas and am also pursuing freedom and happiness for my little family. Me my wife and my 2 1/2 year old son. Carry my glock 17 gen 3 and it gets better year after year. Currently rocking a Valkyrie pl3 and a gideon omega 3 moa red dot. Aim surplus slide. Ndz guide rod and 15lb spring. Vickers carry trigger on oem bar. Oem internals upper and lower. Ghost bullet slide stop, and glock oem extended mag release. Lone wolf ext take down. Magpul carry magwel. Minor frame work and some Goon tape. Its been a slow evolution but im extremely happy with how it shoots and how I shoot with it. No pistol has given me the confidence of my glock 17 with a 17 round mag and a tyrant +5 extension. 22+1 of 124g jhp defending my sons future at all times❤ and it always goes bang. Always. Thats the best part. Ive had zero malfunctions in about 4 years of ownership. Very well cared for and daily carried. Well over 1000 rounds of practice plus 3 classes. ZERO malfunctions......I will be cremated and boxed up with my glock and placed on my kids mantle some day. I believe my spirit will stay attached to my weapon and allow me to protect my son and his future family even after death 😂

You can give your Glock a very smooth trigger without replacing any parts. Al you have to do the polish the of the trigger bar and the connector where they rub against each other. You will retain your factory trigger pull but will eliminate that gritty feel to the take up of the trigger.

Interesting that I should happen upon this today. It just shows how closely google tracks you on the web. I have a brand new Glock 48 MOS. At my local gun store a few weeks ago I found a Double Diamond connector in the sale parts bin for a dollar. I didn’t even bother to check to see what it was for. I just bought it cause I have a bunch of Glocks. I decided to do a $0.25 trigger job to the new G48 and checked to see what the new connector was for and it turned out it was for a 43/43x and 48. I checked the trigger pull six times with a Wheeler spring loaded device before I started and it averaged 6 lbs. I polished up all of the important areas and installed the new connector. I then tested the trigger with 6 pulls and it averaged 5.5 lbs. the trigger did feel a tiny bit lighter and the break was a bit better. I have never had much luck with connectors, be it Ghost or even the stock connector in my G34 which is also lighter than in other Glocks. Calling it a 3.5 lbs. connector is misleading. You aren’t going to get 3.5 lbs without some other major changes like lighter striker springs.

You are a great teacher you're an awesome dude but let me ask you you just said a stock Glock 17 that has been used for years with a factory 5.5 lb spring has came in with a 3 lb spring so if you put the 3 1/2 lb spring in the gun and you use it for 5 years you're going to have a 1 lb trigger that could be very dangerous I think right

I generally don't mess with defensive pistol triggers. I feel like accidents can happen when the trigger is too light. In a defensive situation you want to make sure your pulling the trigger and not accidentally pulling the trigger early if you don't need to. Training is your best trigger upgrade. Any trigger is usable with enough training.

Its a tool. Its not supposed to be pretty. Take some of the change out of your purse if you're concerned with it rubbing.

@@propblast82nd Nah, belly band. I have two and it did it to both of them. Just the belly band and plastic tray in the center console.

I’ve got a lot of Glocks and for the purpose of accuracy and function for carry or duty, I haven’t found Glock triggers to be worthy of all the shit they get. But that 43X trigger is pure garbage and I’m absolutely changing it out.

I put a Ghost trigger in a G19 and it caused it to do double taps. I wrote Ghost, but without an answer. Any ideas? I removed it and it went back to firing fine

Your striker is slipping off the sear. The sear is built into the trigger bar. This can be adjusted. There are many videos on KZbin how to do it.

All of you people constantly swapping out already working parts to "improve performance" better hope all of those mechanical variables that your adding don't bite you in the ass if God forbid you actually need your gun to defend yourself and it jams or malfunctions. I will stick with my stock Glock that ALREADY WORKS!

I have a Gock 30 45 caL WITH A LASERMAX GUIDE ROD LASER, IF I PURCHASE THE GLOCK43X, WILL THIS GIDE ROD LASER FIT IN THE 43X???....THANK YOU

Almost certainly not. I sold my 30 and the only Lasermax I have is for a 26, but since they replace the guide rod it seems unlikely.
