He needs people who can already sound pretty close to the characters so that the voice ai doesn’t have to do too much work. The further away from the character’s voice the original is, the less it will sound like them once you give it to the ai. He may not have a different person for every single character, but I bet it’s at least 2 or 3 people providing the original voices.
