That line actually has three references one obviously starfish, but the other two actually Harken back to vengeance and KFC KFC, when he was on plankton side, and was brainwashed and vengeance in which he makes a ton of references to the movie the shining with the Stanley Kubrick reference and where he said the iconic line “I know that she a Stan, so I gotta keep Shining”

For people confused as to why Sandy is in the song regardless of her being done with the violence and breaking up with SpongeBob...she says "What we all got in common, when the shit's said and done, is a dead fucking roach and the city that we run." So essentially, she came back to defeat "the dead roach" Plankton (whos also her opps) and protect her home as well (Bikini Bottom). It's like an example of "The enemy of your enemy is your friend" type shit
