Lol didn't the people of this world crucify Jesus first? Then they further destroy the essence of his teachings by completely praising and idolizing him, making him into someone "special" away from everyone else. Someone utterly responsible for removing all their sins. Even a religion of fear is formed, to spread itself through hell and eternal damnations. If I were Jesus, I would have become a mad god by now, haha.
@zanaros26063 жыл бұрын
First you persecute this new religion mercilessly using people who can be swayed to evil, so you taint the soul of the religion right from the very beginning. Then you sway the thoughts of an Emperor to give them the political power and privilege to avenge themselves...and in turn the Christians became exactly like those who persecuted them. The bible, fully reformed and edited to conform to the Emperor's political needs. Then the Prince of Levi created a device to further solidify this madness of elitism and 'special-ness' into the physical plane, calling it the "Holy" grail for everyone to praise and give their energy to. "Holy" wars waged everywhere in this planet. "Witches" and "heretics" to be killed everywhere. And now Christianity has become a religion of hell and fear of eternal damnations in modern times...so long as you do not adhere to their one and only savior. Hahaha. Naïve of Jesus of the natural worlds, to think that the people of this unnatural world can be saved through positive methods alone. No matter how many saviors you send to this world, it will all be corrupted and destroyed. Muhammad? Buddha? Zoroaster? Or the hundreds of others the public does not even know of? It will all be the same, at the very end.

Fate of the Clockmaker is in reference to a story on how a queen of London (Probably one of the many Elizabeth's) ordered a ornate grandfather clock be constructed by the best craftsmen in the land. The clockmaker gave her the clock with pride, not paying mind to the two guard by her side. She ordered his eyes plucked out, so the clockmaker could never make anything beautiful again. I used the first song for my DND Homebrew: I had a character sacrifice himself to a giant life stone, preventing the party from all being sucked into it and dying. He touched the stone and looked back, smiling one last time he dissolved in a painful cry as every fiber of his being was disintegrated. Several sessions later a Lieutenant of the Big Bad meets them in a crypt, laughs and says “ Death is such a fickle thing; it’s never absolute “ holding in his undead hand is a similar crystal but it’s a deep crimson instead of the vibrant green they know so well. He slams it into the ground and portals away, the ground bursts with energy as a swell of vines and rock juts out of the ground to form Droz ( the character who died ) with the stone at the center of his forehead. He attacks the party

"Cassio... we're your own kind! Come back with me and you'll see. You can still spend your eternity with me and your mother. This was an impulsive, childish mistake you made!" Cassio looked at Dorian, and his eyes filled with an amused mixture of hatred and sadism. Dorian continued his plea, "If this is about what happend ten years ago, then I understand that! You still have a mortal perspective on loss, but continuing this cycle of death won't help anyone." Cassio let out a small chuckle. "So you're willing to take the high road then? To prove to me you're not a monster?" "Yes... Even after what you've done, I can forgive you." Dorian replied. The half-vampiric bard let out an amused laugh. "Really? Let's test that theory, shall we?" Cassio began to play his violin and magic filled the cold night. Dorian began to speak. "I'm a vampire, charm spells won't work on-" Dorian suddenly stopped. Memories began to overflow his mind, memories of students he had once had. Young vampires he'd had under his wing for decades. All students he had trained Cassio alongside. Ten years ago, he had introduced Cassio to them, and then one by one, each student, had disappeared, not just from reality, but from Dorian's own mind. A tear fell from Dorian's eye as he remembered each of their names. Nickolas, Hellen, Friga... and so many more. "See that's the thing about dreams, Dorian. Once you convince someone something's a dream, they tend to forget it. Even their own surrogate children. Throughout the ten years I trained under you, developing this dream magic, and one by one, they came to me seeking help with their studies, or companionship, or something more carnal. And every time, I obliged them... and then had them oblige me!" Cassio spread his arms and the souls of the vampires he had consumed erupted from his scarlet coat, all with an expression of eldritch, unimaginable agony. "Is one student really worth more than all the others to you, Dorian? Do you love me that much?" Cassio asked, cold sadism in his voice as he gave Dorian a fanged grin. "You started this cycle when you destroyed the Roundhshield guild, and now you plead with me to stop it? Sure, if you can forgive me right now, after I've brought you down to my level, made you feel my pain, and then you still forgive me, I'll listen to to what you have to say. So which will it be, my oh so wise and old vampire friend? Can you forgive me... for taking everything away from you?" Dorian's vision went red with his bloody tears and he gripped the hilt of his sword, his normally calm and gentle voice became a hideous stutter as he cried. "You- You're a monster!" "Yes, you wanted to make me into one of you? Well congratulations, you did. And in return, I made you like me... broken." Cassio began to laugh sadistically as Dorian's breath accelerated, as the millennia-old vampire, for the first time in centuries felt true true hatred boil in his veins. With a roar, Dorian charged at Cassio, who smirked calmly and whispered, "Voila. But your requiem is far from over, Dorian. It has only just begun!" (There's a lot of context (two and a half book's worth) needed to get the full effect of this passage, but standing alone, hopefully it'll compel at least one person's heart, who was generous enough to read it.)

Squinting against the horizon, the sun begins to set on what few survivors are left to light dim torches before the coming night. His eyes shut, tilting back his head to shake the hair from his face, soaking in the smell of salt, steel, and gunpowder deep into laboring lungs. Planks and limbs wash onto the crimson-colored beach as a finger rolls under the heel of his boot. Picking it up, he wiggles the gold band from the stump, mouthing “I do” to himself, before tucking it into his coat. “Well, what a beautiful night to fin-” -Ch1 DawnCrow

Why does "King" (4:39) sound like the end of the world? Its like perfect for a trailer movie for something like that. Gives me goosebumps every time i hear it.

That's what I'm thinking! It feels like it'd perfectly fit a movie trailer.

actually pretty much all of the artists they use make music for trailers. 😆 if you look on their websites you can usually see all the trailers their music was in. ninja tracks especially is in like literally every movie trailer and elephant mostly does netflix trailers.

Can i steal this for an npc in my dnd campaign? The party "adopted" an assassin npc they think is on their side and this line is sooo perfect for when they betray the party

"A traitor I've been, a monster that everyone called me...who knew...never trust the heart...never trust friends...all you have left...is your enemies...do you really...ever...think...was I ever a traitor...? When the entire world is filled with them? A real traitor...is no monster...but misunderstood...it's also why...never trust anyone but yourself..." The thoughts in my head are creative yet so dark when I write this...not sure if I just wrote something confusing or just deep thoughts...

The knife was thrust violently into the center of his back with a ruthless efficiency. The bloodied tip protruded from his chest, staining the fine cloth of his robe with blood. As the king choked out a gasp, the knife slid smoothly out. "How could you" he said as he crumpled to the ground. The traitor's expression did not change in the blood red moonlight.

What makes a King? Is it the crown on his head, the quality of his blood or the people behind him? The crown I wear was not crafted for me. The blood in my veins is as common as any other's. The people fear me and hate me. My name will be cursed for the centuries to come. But what I did, I did with a cleared mind and an appeased soul. I did it because I had to, and because I chose to; and were you in my position who are you to claim you'd had done differently. So I ask you again; what makes a King?

With every step I took towards her, the girl trembled with fear, but she never took her eyes off mine. She had to be strong, she had to stand firm. She knew that even if she was going to die, she would be a martyr for her people and would not leave this life crying and begging like a coward. We were only two feet apart, and I slowly put my sword back in its scabbard. She looked confused by my move, then she panicked, it was one thing to stay strong knowing that one would die, it was another to be unsure of one's destiny. I leaned towards her, "You've made quite a name for yourself." I said in an almost affectionate tone. "When I told my men to find me the maiden of the river, I didn't think it would be you. But here you are." Hoping to quell her panic, she grumbled, "It's been a long time, sister. Why am I not surprised that you enjoy playing with your captives, you were a weak child who always wanted to feel strong, after all." I laughed and slowly crept behind her and without haste, standing on top of the words one by one, I whispered in her ear, "If I wasn't going to kill you anyway, you'd be begging me to take your life.” I did not rush to wrap the scarf around her neck, nor did I when I tightened it until she was out of breath. Or at the moment when I realized that she was about to take her last breath, when I bent down to her ear to say the last words she would hear in this life, my movements were quite calm. "A little clue for your next life, if you ever need to find a traitor again, first suspect your kin."

"I never wanted this. I never wanted to unleash my legions. Together, we banished the ignorance of Old Night. But you betrayed me, father, you betrayed us all. You stole power from the Gods and lied to your sons. Mankind has only one chance to prosper, and if you will not seize it, THEN I WILL!" So let it be war! From the skies of Terra to the Galactic rim! Let the seas boil! Let the stars fall! Though it takes the last drop of my blood, I will see the galaxy freed once more! And if I cannot save this galaxy from your failure, father.. THEN LET THE GALAXY BURN!" -The Arch Traitor himself, Horus Lupercal of the 16th Legion, the Sons of Horus
