Sri Jayadev was Son of Odisha soil and pride of all Odia's… ****************** Since last 100 years, there have been a controversy lying on holy birth place of devotional poet Jayadev. Our Bengali brothers and sisteers have been demanding that Sri Jayadev, composer of Geeta-Govinda belongs to Bengal state since last few decades. But, according to historical research Jayadeva was born in Kenduli Sasan (formerly Kendubilva), in the Prachi valley of Khurda district in Odisha. Kenduli Sasan is a village near the holy city of Purusottama Dham (Puri).The majority of opinions hold in favor of Odisha (formerly Kalinga) not Bengal. Not only Odia texts, but also The Assamese text "Sampradaya Kula Dipak" as well as the Telugu text "Sanskruta Kabi Jivani", contain elaborate descriptions of the poet’s birth taking place near the Jagannath Dham (Puri) in Odisha. Apart from historical research, Jayadev himself also has directly written where his birth place is.Jayadeva mentions his birthplace as “Kendubilva by the sea” (“Kendubilva Samudra Sambhava”) in 7th Ashtapadi of Geeta Govinda. Birbhum (The said birth place demanded by Bengal is) unlike Puri, does not about on the sea. Ashish Chakraborty, a noted Bengali researcher, said recently the language, culture, presentation of religious rituals, song and drama depicted in Gitagovinda have deep connection with ancient Odisha, the great Kalinga Empire. Jayadev’s Geeta Govinda is called as the heart of the Oddisi dance and music.If some one will come to Odisha, he/she can find how the influence of Geeta-Govinda is deeply involved in culture of Odisha. Holy Geeta Govinda is deeply connected with Jagannath culture and day to day daily life of people of Odisha.It really painful for people of Odisha by saying Jaydev does not belong to Odisha. -- Bijaya Ketan Sahu *****

श्री राधाकृष्ण का नंगा नाच बनाने वाला तिरस्कार करने वाला और श्री राधाकृष्ण का बलात्कार करने वाला मुर्ख, कामी, भोगी, चरित्रहीन, हरामी और रंडी का औलाद जयदेव गोस्वामी। (गीता गोविंद- कामा सूत्र). जयदेव गोस्वामी और इस प्रकार के हरामी कवियों ने अपनी नंगा नाच की कहानी श्री राधाकृष्ण के नाम लिख देती हैं और तिरस्कार पूरी दुनिया में श्री राधाकृष्ण का होता हैं मतलब सबसे सस्ता श्री राधाकृष्ण हीं हैं। राधा जी एक काल्पनिक चरित्र है फिर भी इंसान इतना गिरा हुआ है की एक काल्पनिक चरित्र का भी बलात्कार कर दिया इस प्रकार से प्रस्तुत करके। राधा जी को दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा रंडी के रूप में और योगेश्वर श्रीकृष्ण जी को दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा रंडीबाज के रूप में प्रस्तुत किया गया है गीता गोविंद और पुरानो में।हम इंसानों का ऐसा हीं है ईश्वर बोल बोल के हम उसीका नंगा नाच बना देते हैं हम जिसे अपना परम माता पिता मानते हैं हम उसीका बलात्कार कर देते हैं और वो भी महिमा गाते हुए माला जपते हुए और भक्त के रूप में ताकि कोई शक भी ना कर सके वाह रे इंसान।

Respected Mata-jee, with respect to you, I wanted to inform you that Laxman Sen's story was not part of Jayadev's life. Devotional poet Jayadev originally belonged to Odisha where as Laxman Sen was king of Bengal.Jayadev neither born or never visited Bengal.
