Glorifying Violence, Dehumanizing Civilians

The Office of the State Comptroller investigated a private police training conference held in New Jersey. The conference was held by a private company called Street Cop Training.
Some instructors at the Street Cop Training conference promoted a “warrior” approach to policing and dehumanized civilians, referring to them as “gang bangers” or using offensive memes.
