It’s the brain bud you can’t mess with it you know when you are getting hit and it’s making your brain start buffering you shouldn’t be getting anymore . Joe was saying if somebody turned on the lights when he wasn’t expecting it he would get a migraine so bad he’d start to puke . He’s a smart kid to know that long term he was going to take significant years off of his life if he didn’t stop . He’s a great coach , commentator, and has a beautiful gym . He’s doing just fine ! You’re right he was an outstanding fighter for being so young in his career to get to that elite level so quickly was truly special .

@@vinceventura4453 The condition that Joe had was actually found to be present in boxers who had won the majority of there contests, later on it was found that this same abnormality, during brain scans would always subside. The problem is the Danger aspect, if a doctor sees an abnormal reading then hes probably going to tell you to stop fighting all together in order to prevent further damage. In Kevin HIckeys ABA manual of boxing this issue had already been looked into
