There is a very simple way to win this mission, just use all food for villagers, the collect wood, go to the north west of yellow's base and you need only 1 heavy cat to destroy tower, wall and then bombard trees, the wonder is destroyed before even being built and yellow are too far away to hit the heavy cat, red of course is easy to kill wonder. Well done on beating brown though.

I finally pass this mission today. I am so excited. My method is building towers to defend your base, keep collecting wood is important because wood is useful to build fleets in the river in the south of map. Send two farmers, one to the east to deal with red wonder by building siege workshop, one to the south to build docks to establish your fleets. For the red wonder, build about 3 ballistas and one or two catapults to destroy red wonder and red's archers. Then send farmer to the red base, establish a town center beside gold mine to collect gold. When destroying red wonder, don't forget to build your fleets as much as possible. After destroying red wonder and collecting gold in red base, you can start to deal with yellow wonder. You can also send some ballistas to defend your base. Use your fleets and catapult ship to destroy yellow buildings near the river especially their temple, when fleets attacking, also send your siege weapons attack yellow to lure their troops to your base, with towers, ballistas defend your base. In the mean time keep sending fleets to yellow base alone the river and fire at the yellow wonder. Finally I won this mission about 200 wonder years left. It is so satisfying.

Wonderful tactics and strategy you have applied and it's starting was very fabulous by applying the offensive strategy against brown player i really appreciate that otherwise it is very difficult to handle with browns

took him out with bunch of centurions and the original army they gave me. but i attacked immediately

1- I Built three towers near red, out of their line of sight, plus a temple and 2 siege workshops. Sent all my troop to east. 2- As the brown spotted me in the east, attracted the brown to near my three towers. put my horses to destroys the brown workshops. 3-Converted the brown centurions, advanced North to get the gold mines, while my ballistas and catapults took care the red defense and wonder. 4-Finally, made a non-sucessful attack to yellow, slightly to the North, a part of the wall was torn apart. 5-Built a siege workshop in the westside of my homeland. The yellow attacked my men in the North, I could easily go South with two catapults and destroyed the Yellow's wonder. It was a bit tricky.

This method is just for fun,to show an unusual way to win. it is difficult to destroy brown, but after that playing is much more simple.

It's probably standard, but my method was 3 towers at home base, lots of vill on food and stone. Use horse to destroy 2 brown catapults. Make new TC at South East where there is stone and wood and deer. Collect wood/stone, 3 more towers, wall to funnel. Make workshops. Once built up some siege, build towers at red to distract. Bring siege too. Destroy enough towers, focus wonder, new TC at little gold, then destroy all of red. New TC at big gold. Tower the south river, build docks, create some ships - juggernaut probably best. Create 10 cats or whatever you want really. Clear path with ships and transport troops/siege, easy wonder kill. Not sure if brown tributes, but when I attacked from the north at yellow, they had 50,000 elephant archers lol I so want to squash them with a lot of siege

It depends on what we choose as a criteria for optimality ) in case if our purpose is to destroy AIs, then this is a good strategy

Optimal just meaning time taken. Using mostly Priests and few Siege Weapons, it took me several minutes longer to win, and I did not defeat brown player.

Magnatio My strategy was to attack directly the red's wonder with siege weapons and then go directly to the yellow's one. I had to try 3 times, but I finally got it for less than 15 minutes.

I build towers and walls in my base. After this i start to make 4 or 5 five catapults to attack the red. While i'm attacking the red, i also try to defend my city, and try to growing my economy. After i'm attack the red, i put my villagers to take gold from the red's base, and i start to create the helepoilis, to attack the brown. I attacked the brown. maybe i already have a lot of food, so i going to get more wood and gold from the brown's base. Make my helepolos and catapilts army (with some centurions)... And attack the yellow That's my strategy And forgive my english

Yes, Of Course! You can notice it almost in every video in the beginning. Also you conclude it by seeing how the computer attacks.

The easiest way for me was: build a lot of towers to defend, build 4 balistras, destroy red, go to yellow (lost 3 balistras in the process), with the last balistra, destroy the north west wall tile and the tower, then destroy the wonder. The yellow doesn't fight back :-) Maybe you need to lure the yellow army to the east (i did that by accident) but probably not. Having said that, the way of Magnatio is more fun... :-)

Probably you are playing non-expansion version. If you set up an expansion you will be able to pre-load villagers. Also you will have more campaigns. The videos for new campaigns are also uploaded on my channel.

I've seen that in other comments you can translate russian without problems, so I'll start to post in spanish, because as I had said (and as you may have noticed) my english is very bad. Misión difícil. Yo no uso torres; tampoco uso lo de la distracción con la caballería (una táctica muy buena), y al rojo yo lo ataco por el flanco izquierdo.En lo demás juego igual. Me gustó mucho la técnica del "embudo" al amarillo, y se habría podido controlar mejor si también hubieras usado torres, no crees?

Winter Witch Not sure about Long Swordsmen, but I presume Composite Bowmen, the strongest foot archers in the game, are supposed to represent Cretan archers, who were quite renowned in the ancient world.

Really? Are you from Russia? I tray said: This mission is dificult. Your tactic is more similar as mine, except: i dont use niether towers, nor the cavalry whit distraction (a good idea,i liked so much); and i atack red in left side. I like too the tecnic of "embudo" (i dont know say in english) of yellow. I belive you can build towers too, in front of fortification broken; thereby you no lost the units for conversion. What´s your opinion? If you from Russia, where do you live? not live in USA?
