Thank you, beautifully played. Today, the Hong Kong government deregistered an elementary school teacher for life. Reason being the teacher had prepared a lesson plan that touches upon independence movement in Hong Kong. Hong Kong may sound a little remote to you. Hong Kong may be too small a place to be shown on the world map. But our existence deserves to be acknowledged - we are against dictatorship yet we are muffled. We need your help - speak for us; speak for those who can no longer voice. I used to play the double bass in the school orchestra. Thank you for bringing back the good old days’ memories - best time of my life!

In the hearts of Hongkongers, this song, now banned by the thuggish and barbaric CCP regime, is HK's authentic national anthem. It is more than a song, it has become an icon, a history of standing up against authoritarian with the sacrifice of blood and freedom by the young people of Hong Kong.

In Hong Kong, a registered primary school teacher is just delisted because of a worksheet discussing the freedom of speech in HK with students, the case is determined as no violation against teacher's merit from the in-school investigation, but 5 months later, the Education Bureau overrode the decision of the school investigation, and delist the teacher and condemn the management of the school. Discussion is not allowed, this is the reality of HK. And what the education bureau did now is similar to what had happened during the cultural revolution in China.
