The battle of Cowdenbeath and the siege of Dunkeld were won for the original Angus McFife by the Knights of Crail in the first album. Apparently, When Angus McFife XIII followed Zargothrax into the worm hole they traveled into an alternate dimension where Zargothrax has won all these battles and is the emperor. They also show in this video unicorns attacking Dundee (assuming that is Dundee), a nod to the song also in the first album. We'll see how accurate all this is when the album releases and we hear the full story!

Spot on, but not the whole truth. The battle marked a turning point on the war against Zargothrax, since Zargothrax still had his Citadel in which Ralathor helped Angus Macfife I infiltrate. In the Terror Vortex, if it were not for the intervention of the Hootsman, the last light of the kingdom of Fife would have been extinguished. This is a pivotal victory by the Ressistance against zargothrax and his death knights of Crail.

Gloryhammer is always entertaining. So far I'm loving the epic tale that Christopher Bowes has crafted across 2 epic albums so far, with this newest one being the third. May 31st can't come fast enough for me. Looking forward to the continuing adventures of Angus, Hoots, Ralathor, Ser Proletius, and of course Zargothrax! LOL 🤘😁🤘

(Late Late Night) 8 Dec 2019, Retrospective Reaction #274... And it's friggin' *Gloryhammer* - a band I was not even aware of before earlier this year, when my brother insisted that we go to a summer 2019 festival to see their first gig in Finland. After *one* music video (don't remember which) I was sold. And since this is _not_ your first Gloryhammer reaction, I know you guys are sold too. "Glory! Hammer!" The metal world had, for quite a while until Gloryhammer appeared, longed for a band that doesn't take themselves too seriously, and just _revels_ in cheese... *except* that the songs tend to be *gold* :) Basically, before I click "play", I am looking forward to what creative ideas Pedro comes up with after listening to this =D

"A horny horse" =D Ooh sh---! This song brilliantly combines three quite disparate influences: *Rhapsody (of Fire/etc.)* fantasy power metal, the spoken "evil voice" reminiscent of *Bal-Sagoth* (just listen to _The Power Cosmic_ album and you'll see), and operatic choir parts that sound like *Therion* - all good ingredients! And the mock Latin words are just hilarious!

Just an insight for the songs of gloryhammer, since most of the songs are a saga to a much greater story. From what I know, the singer is the king of Unst (Hoots), the piano guy is the evil sorcerer (Zargothrax), and i don't exactly know how are theothers but I'm pretty sure that theguy in the military outfit is the admiral of the king's FLIGHTING SPACE SUBMARINE ARMADA... No, I'm not kidding and stop asking me about the drug, I told you, I'm already out of cocaine XD

Singer is the Angus The XIII Corwned Prince of Dundee. The Hootsman is the bassist and also king of Unst and California. He died at the end of the previous album when he sacrificed himself blowing up his neutron star heart to stop Zargothrax. Unfortunately the evil sorcerer managed to escape to another dimension and Angus followed him.

Pedro, Wanted to give you an update on the Avantasia show last night in Chicago. In one word: EPIC! This was a show for ages: 5 guest vocalists including Geoff Tate of Queensryche fame, and 3 hours of pure music mastery. I think they’re in Montreal tomorrow. It’s worth the trip if it isn’t sold out. Take care.
