Detangling should always be based with water first before using a comb or applying any product ....Spray with water first

H Bains most likely. May be harder to do tightly the straighter your hair is though but no impossible.

Yes, but to secure where you are no longer flat twisting along the scalp and are finishing with a normal two-strand twist, you can normally braid those ends instead for security ❤️ I hope that makes sense xx

I always think it’s funny they call cornrows by that name. Where I come from is a very isolated small Africa diaspora nation and we called that style Congo. Flat twists we called Congo curls. The people of that generation never even knew that there is a nation called Congo. I wonder how the name Congo became cornrow, for our style?

Idk what I’m doing wrong, because mine always end up looking like a French brain. Crazy thing is idk how to cornrow/French braid. I’m so bad at it, If someone told me I have to French braid my hair or die. I’d just walk to the nearest funeral home and politely lie down in a casket.
