There are so many. I like wrist length ones. You should be able to use touchscreens, and the outside fabric should not be slippery ie fleece. I don't use different types for different ops and temps, I only use/need the ones I'm wearing here. They should be thin enough so that I can feel when my thumb /fingers are resting on buttons, I should not need to visually confirm that I'm actually pressing the right button (sling release, landing light on collective, China hat on the cyclic and so on)
