It’s because Floyd didn’t specify what brand of gloves Maidana can & CANT wear. Maidana wasn’t braking any rules of the contract so that’s why Floyd had to pay him. They agreed on $1.5 million. So this is the same thing that happened with Fliyd vs Miadana. The gloves with hitchens name one it texture looks different. They were cracked a bit. Same with Miadana first pair. The second pair looks smoother. Floyd didnt let Miadana use the first pair because the looked broken in. Hitchens first pair looked broken in. I think this came from whoever customized and put Hitchens name on them. Same with Miadana blue pair. They were customized with Argentina flag so it might be because they are getting lazer printed and its causing the cloves to heat up a bit wich changes the texture.
