En verdad que lo de la menstruación es diferente en todos lados, aquí en Puerto Rico le llamamos “la regla” o estar en “tus días” pero también decimos “me bajo la regla” y si depende de la región. Pero no es la única palabra que cambia, hay demasiadas cosas que cambian en el español, dependiendo el país que te encuentres! Anyways keep slaying on your Spanish and on being the baddest b!

I’m pocha also and I’ve gotten told I wasn’t Mexican enough and that I didn’t look Mexican enough to be considered Mexican by my therapist😭👍🏼. So I get it, it’s a nonstop battle on how you aren’t Mexican enough to be Mexican but also can’t relate to white people. Like a.b said in Selena you have to be more Mexican than Mexicans and more American for white people and ITS EXHAUSTING. My answer to that is to embrace your Mexican heritage with all your heart because that is who you are. 🇲🇽❤️EMBRACE THE CULTURE
