Can I cut the MIRROR ACYLIC and the Glitter acrylics in the Aura machine? And can I upload my own creations in that app ? Do I need to have a subscription with GlowForge??? I do not want to use the paid files that they sell .

Hi!!! The aura cannot cut mirror or glitter. It can cut lots of solid colors and wood options along with leathers. I don’t think you need a subscription to use your own files!

Hi!! No, the spark does not cut mirror acrylic due to the diode laser. I’m not 100% about the glitter acrylics. Check out Houston Acrylics they have a diode laser tested section that works with Glowforge Aura and Spark

Yes! I engraved pencils and created a pencil jog with this machine. Works perfectly!

You can not! It has a diode laser. The diode laser has some limited capabilities but a lot of people cut wood and paint it white! I know its not a solution for clear, but just a suggestion that could be an option for your plans!

What size acrylic does the spark use?

The spark can fit the 12x12 sheets in it but it won’t cut the full sheet. The max cutting area is 8.5 x 11!
