Another awesome project! Could make a top hat out of felt - cut a rectangle and cut a thin strip (another rectangle) and cut a circle. Assemble; making a tube with lg rec, snip one side of the strip - long edge of the strip, then glue the strip/bill to the tube, then glue the circle/top on one end of the tube. Snipping the one edge will help ease the strip around the tube. I love your idea of using a doily for snow woman.

This is just too cute! Im going to be making 4 of these since we only have 2 kids left in our household. I'll make a hat for my hubby, a hat for me maybe but for my son a tabogan like yours and a longer one for my daughter. The aquarium gravel is ingenuis, but was a little too big for the boys mouth. Still cute tho!

Try just 3 of the smallest pieces. Probably can paint other sm pebbles if don’t want to buy aquarium gravel. I would have never thought of the gravel myself - excellent minds some have!

Sweetie, I used to worry about the length of my videos too. Mainly because I would read comments off and on about how long they were. I soon came to realize that the people complaining were a very small minority AND if they didn't have time to watch my long tutorials, they probably don't have the time to craft anyway. LOL! Keep up the good work Hun! You are doing fantastic!
@Craftie8 жыл бұрын
+OneVeryHappyBird Aww. Thanks. I do worry about it but you're right... I know that as a viewer, I really like the longer videos so.. I guess people with time enough to craft will too. Thank you.

You can get the glass globes (fish bowl) at The Dollar Tree in both sizes. These are very cute, and so much easier than spray painting a frost coating on the glass! For lighting, what may be easier is to get the tap lights from Dollar Tree (2 to a pack). You can leave the open end of the larger globe at the bottom, which is just enough to put the tap light under, then glue the smaller one on top of the larger one, then slip the sock on. 👍

+Sandy Norlock I lost the exact pattern when my hard drive crashed but I remember it was made to fit an American Girl doll. Anything you find to fit the American Girl dolls should be a great fit for the snow woman.

What can't you make. It's all so precious. I was thinking of making some of these for family but I wondered how long can I have the lights plugged in. I'm thinking that it might get hot but I'm hoping that I'm wrong

Thanks so much! I've had mine plugged in for several hours and they've never gotten too hot. Also, you could probably find LED lights or something that doesn't get hot.
