I love this video - only problem is when I apply hue on a black background, it works fine. But if I apply the hue (to the spectrum) and have it on white text on a lighter background, the full image shows up? not really sure how to change this so it doesn't have the full rectangular image and only applies the multicolour to the wireframe text :(

try "colour" blend mode instead OR add a layer mask to your spectrum asset that covers the layers you want to add colour to - if i ever cover this effect again, or anything simliar, ill cover this too!
