Special thanks to Focus Entertainment for the free and early copy of Atomic Heart! Atomic Heart takes place in Facility 3826, the Soviet Union's foremost scientific research hub in an alternate 1955. In the 1930s, scientist Dmitry Sechenov develops a liquidized programmable module called the Polymer, sparking massive technological breakthroughs in the fields of energy and robotics in the USSR and freeing much of the populace from manual labor. These breakthroughs include a networked artificial intelligence called the "Kollektiv" linking these robots together. Sechenov also develops a device called "Thought" to integrate Polymer into the human body, allowing remote neural interfacing with the robots as part of an improved Kollektiv 2.0. However, its official launch on 13 June 1955 goes awry, plunging Facility 3826 into chaos. The main protagonist is a mentally unstable officer on special assignments named Major Sergei Nechaev, nicknamed P-3, sent by Sechenov to keep the situation at facility 3826 from deteriorating. P-3 is challenged with combating robots that went haywire, failed biomechanical experiments and his own, ever-deteriorating mental state. Crispy critters I wished the dialogue wasn't interrupted with other dialogue or skipped completely every time the player took 10 steps. Hope the devs fix this in a later patch and not leave it like that. Also 1:57:40 is one of a couple examples of lagging cutscenes and it happened throughout the video. I don't know if was a recording bug or the game since I seen other playthroughs that didn't have the lag.

I think Sergey the player character sounds very very similar to male-V from Cyberpunk. Like, that voice and the way he talks. Even if he's not the same voice actor, his mannerism and personality that is always on edge makes me feel like going on an adventure with good old V again. Plus the game gives me Bioshock vibe in so many aspects, and I love it. So nostalgic 😊

I can say that the English dub is very different from the Russian dub, in English a lot of dialogues have been changed or rewritten. For example: 2:52:53 dialogue between a major of KGB and his glove (I will not write everything, dialogues that do not have an English voice acting) M- major KGB Nechaev H-glove H - Unfortunately, yes, Comrade Major. The struggle for power in the Kremlin never subsides. Party elite demanded for itself power in the "Collective". M - Hy... After all, this is our government... We are the USSR... H - We are Yes! But "The Collective" was conceived as universal for all people on the planet. And on the planet there is not only USSR. M - Capitalists and imperialists must not be allowed into the Collective! Or 4:04:19 missed very important dialogue

One major complaint is the monstrous sounds and loud explosions playing all over in the audio, overlapping sounds like the dialogue. It’s gotten to the point where I got a headache trying to determine what noises I should be focusing on. Mainly around the 4:09:13 mark where Major is talking and his fighting robots and mutants while gunfire goes off. Besides that this was a good video but the voice audio is something to be more desirable.

It looks amazing, but listening to both the original voice and this English dub, it's a meme game. It lacks serious depiction of both the period and the characters, the main character is a ghetto idiot who swears half the time he is not complaining about the world around or making terrible, humiliating remarks and cliche phrases. That's just the first 15 minutes. From a narrative standpoint, the game is not only a failure, but also an affront to writers in general.
