To everyone in the comments saying “Geralt would’ve done this” or “Geralt would never have done bla bla bla”, I say this: if it’s in the options of dialogue, Geralt would, indeed, behave in such ways despite the ‘Prince Charming’ persona you’ve personally attached to him. Geralt is every dialogue option available, he is altruistic and turns down payments, and he is also a greedy whoremonger if you so choose to play as such. Each dialogue option, is, indeed, within the realms of Geralt’s behavior.

Same, was a bit overwhelming at first but after a while I got into it. Also helps that I've had a habit of watching things out of order from childhood: Terminator 2, Aliens, Die Hard 2, Indiana Jones Temple of Doom etc etc XD But really digging it and now I watch this in order to somewhat understand things.

7:47:06 The last cutscene of Chapter III is honestly my favorite cutscene in the entire Witcher game trilogy. It's like a scene from an old Hollywood Film noir. All the voice actors are absolutely sublime in their roles, and the writers, director, and editor pack so much (melo)DRAMA into just a minute a thirty seconds! Things I love: Geralt cooly explaining the twist villain's plan to her face like an old-school spy; Adda stiffly assuming the role of a villain while fighting her feelings for Geralt; Geralt asking for a kiss being so over the top yet so on-brand for him; the sarcastic relish in Triss' voice as she delivers a 3-word sucker punch of a line at the climax of the scene. Everything just sings! 11/10

For me it wasnt the combat it was the very SLOW fucking movement i just cant i almost feel asleep from quest to quest not to mention the camera glitch that i have got and stupid npc interactions where if i say who is x or y they go fuck you and never talk to me again and i need them for the quest 🙄 i love the series but i think ill watch this and go right ahead to the second one i just cant play this im waiting for the remake i hope it will be better (it will) 😃

@@Alexutzzu I feel you with the movement speed. I ran up and down that road in Chapter 1 between the inn and the reverend so many times that I started scream hysterically while watching Geralt jog at that infuriating pace. No other game has prompted such a response like that from me.

When this game was out gaming was awesome because not many games like this were out that were as good but now there ten to a penny. I really wish I could go back to the days when I played tomb raider one those days were amazing but it's weird how so many games are out now yet I can't be bothered to play any of them. When I was young you waited months for a game and o boy it was worth the wait but now with so Many being released and so repetitive I don't feel the joy in gaming that much I wish I could turn the clock back to the 80s and 90s

Wishing the “directors cut” made better decisions, or would have included each of the scenes outcomes not just the… rather poor choices made by this player. Geralt would never have fought the elves with Siegfried so unnecessarily at 5:55. And this is but one example of the frustrations I had with this “directors cut.” 12 hours of content and I’m just annoyed that this is the cut the director went with? 😂 what a shame. felt like they were purposely choosing poor outcomes that even the game itself regularly chastised the character for making. But with all these criticisms let me say thank you for taking the time to make this and edit it and upload it, it was nice getting to access the full story, even if I would’ve make different choices. I complain only because it is less immersive but its a personal preference and I respect that everyone plays different ways. So thanks 🙏🏻

I'm not so full of myself to call myself a director. :P It's just what this version of the game is titled. As for the poor decisions, I tried my best, but the game often doesn't let you make good decisions. A lot of the time it comes down to choosing between two bad ones, because that's what the world is like. Like the Siegfried thing, trust me I did not want to fight the elves, but at that point I felt Geralt had developed a friendly relationship with Siegfried and it seemed worse to side with the elves and betray Siegfried's trust. Similar thought process went into all of the choices. Another example: when the game criticizes your choices like not choosing a side when the elves and soldiers had their little battle in the forest. Well guess what, I chose a side after that and then the game criticized me for doing that. This simply isn't a nice world, you're meant to feel like crap, just like Geralt does, no matter what you choose. That's what the writers intended.

Play witcher 3 then witcher 1. 🙂I really enjoy it. I hate eternal fire in witcher 3 but side with them because Siegfried treated me friendly. As for Yaevinn, I always kicked his butt with Siegfried because he lied to me about artifact searching It's in reality underground passage to bank. There is no remaster coming out. It's getting a full remake in Unreal Engine 5. He was right about it coming out a year after The Witcher 4. We don't have any release date details yet, probably because of what happened with Cyberpunk.
