I started last night and I'm stuck on cotton kiln. I have no idea how to progress or what I'm supposed to do. I'm finding this way more difficult than any other souls game or bloodborne. Not sure if I chose the wrong character but the Hunter doesn't seem to go well in this first stage. Totally out of my depth here!

I am off to a rough start. I started off once I got to the 1st stone and the leader vanished than the girl. I followed right behind. After going down some elevators I found myself in a sand lot surrounded by poisons and getting killed over and over by npc's coming out of the ground and being laser beamed and so on. I didn't go back to the town. I guess that is what I should have done in the 1st place, because I am not seeing any of that other stuff you guys are in. I think I skipped up to a level I am not geared for?

I wasn't aware of the fact you get to play it 3 days before it's released if you purchased the ultimate edition which comes with an armour set plus another add-on, I think health pack because I wouldn't went with that instead but 1 one day isn't bad 😑

My game ended with all the "life energy particles" (or whatever that is), all being disintegrated and absorbed into Clementine. After that, the credits began rolling! It made no sense! Your ending made a little more sense, but not much. It's still a bad wat to end a complicated game!

Looks great, but the fact that this is not even an 8 hour game is disappointing as fuck. I'll wait until it goes wayyyy down on sale. I don't pay more than $30 on games that are 8 hours or less, just a rule that I have. I did the same thing with Resident Evil 2 and 3, I waited over a year until they went on sale. I don't care how good the game is, I don't pay full price for short ass games.

I just read a news that says that even on RTX 4090 the games runs on 40fps on avg at native 4k ultra. Are you using dlss to achieve 60fps?

its a procedurally generated campaign. you wont even likely play any of these levels on your playthrough. ive just started the game and im on some sort of planet and in a space station. player walkthroughs are meaningless

I notice that this game sends you in differen't directions depending on what choice you made. If you chose to go with the dog as a companion which I should've paid attention to because that's the one I wanted to start with, you get sent to a beautiful world that's really dark souls 3 like. @iaqh They aren't pushing anything. It was one line that resembled that sentiment at all, and it was the one line where a female told the main character she didn't need help. Not because of the gender of the player character, she just doesn't need the help. Not to mention, it was a choice to be a male character. She would have had the same dialogue whether the player character was male or female. The developers don't need criticism that doesn't help the game

hated this game and it's predecessor. A lot of potential but all wasted in the execution. There is not time dedicated to exploration, is basically a boss fight after another and a few minions here and there. The path is unclear and the map is awful, you are never sure of where to go and the game doesn't tell you, and this is not to incourage ppl to do research , it's just lazy programming but until ppl keep praising this "style" this is what we will keep getting. Good graphics and basic ideas but everything else I hated it to the core.I've never felt a real progression in the character development, the so call upgrades are ridicolus and only concentrated to the few weapons you find. No upgrades for the armor. I upgraded the long range weapon to the max and still didn't do much to the enemies. Maybe the class i picked wasn't right but at this point if you are able to be powerful only with specific calsses then it means that the execution(as I said) is bad.Monotonus beyond limits, you're constanly firing at hundreds of minions at the time and literally every 3 minutes there is a mini-boss. Last chapter is even more annoying, you have 6 consecutive boss fights with no exploration in between. the mana system and the movement are trash. The only improvement from the first one is that ig you back track it doeasn't respawn all the enemies. 2 out of 5 for me. I'm glad I played it for free and i won't look for the 3rd one.

Remnant 2 features a randomly generated campaign, random locations, and boss encounters. In the reviews, people stated that after 200 hours of play they managed to meet new content! This game has many surprises, it surprised me a couple of times in 7 hours of gameplay! I'm playing the game now and I really like it! A very fun and interesting game, with well-done secrets and tons of content. I had completely different locations and their sequence compared to this walkthrough. The more I play, the more I like it! So far this is the best Action game for me this year although I have played Resident Evil 4, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and Diablo 4. Remnant 2 is worth the money!
