Why did the cutscenes change so dramatically in this series of games like they have dropped off a cliff they look so janky
@solesurvivor5 Жыл бұрын
Gotta be honest, the story is a waste of time, gameplay looks ok, I've read some complaints about the teleporting kills but they look ignorable if it's not your thing. But like many I came here to do a follow up on valhalla and looks like they are trying to pull another Juno, how many games are they gonna string us along this time? 3, 4, 5? I started looking constantly at the timer around the 3 hour mark dissapointed what I could tell they were already doing. I admit the nehal twist almost got me to look the other way, but without an actual appearance from Loki it was left so vague that those who never seen valhalla were left confused cause they won't know whats going on and those who did will be confused as to why were they so cryptic about it. Basim's journey to submit to Loki should have been fleshed out in a similar fashion to Eivor's journey to resist, it should not have been pushed to the last 10 minutes of the story. I am pretty sure we will be expected to buy a few dlc packadges to see the transition to valhalla and pretty much what we came here to see. One last thing: Did any of the characters in the story actually exists? Usually in this series it's pretry easy to tell which characters had a real life counter part , even if your not educated in the time period, but this tine the story is so dull I fell asleep 3 times and can't even recall any of the names, maybe the prince who's dad nehal "killed". But I am not interested in seeing this twice.
@leila13dnd11 ай бұрын
I am fully with you on the fact that I would have wanted a much more fleshed out journey from og Basim to Loki Basim. The ending... makes sense I guess, no thanks to Valhalla, but is not as satisfying as one would hope. But eh, I can't complain, I get to write as much fanfic as I want now...

Honest opinion. Can I say this game is interesting but not my favorite. I kind of understood that Nehal didn’t truly exist. I mean if you played BO1 you get it. Nehal is to Basim. Being the same as what Viktor Reznov is to Alex Mason. A figment of their imagination. Leading them. The way I figured that out, was by watching the interactions with Nehal and other characters. No one ever reacted to her but Basim. It was the same way in BO1 with Reznov. Not a bad story but just kind of rehashing things. I mean to me. Basim is a combination of Altair and Alex Mason.

The graphics are not the best, but I had a hit of nostalgia and actually had fun edit: Basim character is just great

Someone's gonna have to explain that ending to me. What past is Basim referring to? What prison? Why didn't Roshan want him to go there?

Hell yeah, loved him in Valhalla already but getting an entire game is very much up my alley. 😂

My question is why did they do one for him and not anyone else I mean he was the bad guy in valhalla
@leila13dnd11 ай бұрын
I mean that's precisely why he was so interesting and why he is. The way Valhalla sets it up the modern day crew has no idea he's a bad guy - the only one who could tell is now stuck in his place forever. But he was an evil assassin, something totally unexpected, at least since Altair. I'm glad Mirage explained how he even became one and how he became, well, kinda evil.
