@@Wtfgladiator Very true. After all, Kratos himself asks "By the gods, what have I become?" only moments after the above quote. Anyone else remember playing the very 1st GOW Beta on PS2?? It was a single disc that let you play the very 1st level all the way until you defeat the 2 smaller hydras, then when the biggest Hydra emerges it ends. I was around 12 years old & my mom said “hey some beta game came with something I bought.” I had never heard of GOW at the time because advertisement was limited since smart phones didn’t exist yet & broadband was very new. I stuck the disc in my PS2 & 5 minutes later I was intrenched. I had no idea what I was playing or how big it would be. 1 month later I got the full game & fell in love with it. The gameplay & story was groundbreaking for a console. It took me a few days & many hours of playing to beat it. Back then you couldn’t just look up “how to solve this puzzle” or “how to beat this boss.” That’s what made beating challenging games back then so fulfilling. You had to do it on your own. After that I bought GOW2 3 & 4 the day they came out. I didn’t have or want a PSP to get the prequels. Who knew all these years later at age 28 I’d still be interested in or let alone be playing GOW4 & excited for GOW5 😳😂🤷♂️👏. Only reason I purchased each PlayStation is to play the GOW’s lol. *BTW MAN. Huge 👏👏👏 for uploading this!! I know how time consuming & challenging it is to cut, clip, & render all of this. Athena was killed by the Blade of Olympus at the end of the God of War but achieved a higher existence instead of disappearing from the world for good. "I had a sister?" "Yes, her name was Calliope. She was the center of my entire world. She loved to dance and play her flute. It would always put me at ease..." "I see. What about my stepmother?" "Lysandra, she was a proud Spartan woman. I wouldn't have chosen anything less. Aside from your own mother. She was the only person who could talk back to me and not suffer a gruesome demise. I should have heeded her warnings. But I was stubborn and arrogant...now do you see the meaning behind the lessons I've tried to instill in you?" "I do now Father...thank for you for sharing this with me."

So in the first time travel to Zeus’ betrayal, does that mean that all the enemies and bosses we killed, aside from the Sisters of Fate, are technically alive? You know, Perseus, Theseus, Euryale, and the barbarian King.

Honestly it would've been a better twist if Athena was really the one who wanted Olympus for herself, using Kratos to kill off the other gods. A lot better than the rushed explanation we got at the end GOW 3

Athena was the goddess of wisdom and also war. She knew she couldn't beat Kratos. So she tried to manipulate him from start to finish.
