While its possibly been surpassed since its launch in 98, it's hard to forget just how big a leap this game was. Whilst other developers were still struggling with 3D cameras, OoT was film like. Cutscenes are directed, with different sound, lighting and framing which helps with the story telling. And of course gameplay was near flawless. And it's still damn good 20+ years on and deserving the occasional replay.

This was actually pretty cool! I can see why it was so popular. Never played any Zelda games and this is the first game movie I've watched in the series; pretty impressive! I really liked the use of those different melodies to warp or perform other functions; curious if the other games do the same. This game felt kind of like a beginning, so I'll look for game movies after it but not the prior ones - I want to see the next chapter in this story. 🙂 Thanks again GLP! 🐧

Funny part is I actually love Zelda with a passion, but we don't typically do Nintendo stuff. Ocarina is my favorite game of all time hands down. Views-wise, Nintendo stuff they never really hit for us, because I think Nintendo fans tend to gravitate toward Nintendo-centric channels. But, nonetheless can't wait for TOTK and can't wait to make some videos! Also have more Zelda stuff going up the next couple of days!

This remaster in hd was fantastic! I bought a ds just to play this and MM. I cant understand why Nintendo doesn't release this on the switch. Its such a great game especially with the updated graphics. Its seems like Nintendo would make a ton of money from it if they released it on switch.
