I love your DIY's. 🧡 I just wanted to let you know about a secret I discovered at Lowe's.💙 They let me have all of the wood slats that I want, ❤️that are used to elevate the wood, to prevent moisture getting trapped btwn. the loads of stacked boards; they are the thickness and width of a 5 gallon stir stick. Also, they'll give you any scrap pieces of lumber, that they've cut off. i.e. A man wanted a huge piece of 1/4" plywood, that was 4' w X 7' l . The boards come in size 4' w X 8' l. They offered it to him for free, he didn't want it. They offered it to me for free. 😯 I said yes. 😊 I took home a 12" x 4' board, which is great for making a sign or a cute, wooden, box planter, for my table centerpiece. 😊

Just wanted to say that I love love your attitude and handmade hints to make things from home. We live in Italy and I cannot find beads....BUT I will make your beads. Thanks also for sharing that you DO NOT have to have a Cricket to create script letters. And as I tell ladies here in Italy, art is really in the eye of the beholder. It does not nor will not look like perfection. And that is ok.

Great projects as usual, love how you make everything look so simple and easy. I am curious how you price your items to sell on FB marketplace. I’ve heard some crafters say to price it 3x what you spend on materials but this doesn’t really work if materials are from DT. The amount of time spent can be way more than the materials.

@@GlueGunsRoses Hum...Minimalism hahaha I find it very challenging as some of those items would be like a flag stand and change the flag to the season type thing. I find that lame and lazy for myself. I want to look like "the cool neighbor" without the cold minimalism. I move often out of state and country. Keeping things to a minimal can sometimes be crucial as far as weight limits. You bring class, good sense, and style to Dollar Tree DIY. I so appreciate you!

Hey fellow crafter! Just something I figured out over the years, if you paint the surface with Mod Podge and let it dry then put the napkin or tissue paper on top then cover it with a t shirt and put a hot iron on it....don’t run just rest and press then trim with an exacto knife the orniments or what ever your making comes out perfect with no wrinkles....and it’s waaaaay less messy.
