Barbara, I just happened on your video in May of 2019. I loved your demonstration and I want to offer my kudos to you for putting yourself out there and making this video, as well as continuing to craft, in spite of the medical challenges you have been experiencing. Your response to some of the unthinking remarks that have been made was elegant and I commend you for not stooping to the level of these people who know not of what they speak. It's shameful that some people were never taught that if they can't say something nice they should not say anything at all. I am 65 years old and suffer from medical issues that impact my daily life. I think if anybody said anything like that to me I would attempt to punch their lights out because I'm not as gracious as you are. I was blessed with a hot Sicilian temper and it often goes off, especially when I see people being so thoughtless. You did a great job in the video and I could hear every word. I, too, follow the frugal crafter and love her tips as well. The only tip I have for you is you should check out using Google speech to text when you are writing replies to comments. It saves me trying to type on my smartphone because I have 'fat finger syndrome' and it takes me forever. Using the little microphone in the upper right hand corner of my keyboard I can speak and Google types what I want to say. It's much easier to fix the small errors, because Google doesn't always hear me correctly, than it is to type everything out letter by letter. Try it. You'll like it! With that being said if there are any typos - they are not mine, it's Google's fault. 😁 PS: I did edit this posting and fixed the errors I noticed. I can be a little OCD sometimes. Clip on crafting and posting. Crafting is great therapy for me and I hope it has been for you as well. You might also check out the KZbin lady Sandy Parker who publishes as crafting for almost everyone. She deals with medical issues as well and her goal is to help people find products that make crafting easier and shows her work around so that her RA doesn't keep her from doing what she loves. You will fall in love with Sandy, as I have.

Thank you so much! I too follow Lindsay and she speaks a great deal on how to make and preserve your pigments, I didn't know that she also did one for embossing! I was blessed with hundreds of embossing powders, nothing to use with them! On my way to get glycerin tomorrow, as I want to wake up all the ink pads I was also blessed with, and make my own colors! Thank you so much!🤗😘

GREAT GREAT IDEA...Just knew there would be a DIY out there. My problem is finding the glycerin. Been checking *everywhere* and no one has it. I will keep looking. Loved the idea of the CD case.. Looks like one that held a smaller size disc but no reason you couldn't use a bigger one. The more to *ink* with, right. Thanks again.

Hi GRAMMIEPAT i just folded the felt i think it is about 3 layers but it was the very thin kind but that is what i had here i put on about a tablespoon and scraped it around so it would soak in then put on just a tiny bit more you don't want to much to make it mushy it depends on how thick your felt is but you want it only barely moist

my hands are still bad and i hit the enter button before i ready .. the heart was in a set i got free from crafters companion when i bought one of their machines i don't know if they sell them alone o not but you can check their web site i think it worked better myself because it is much sticker .. that tutorial has got me more thumbs down than any i have ever done because people said i was to slow i could have speed it up but it is the old story can't please every one .. but if people don't understand what you doing what good is it to do it .. some things need more explaining than others so Thank you for letting me know you appreciated it being slow if someone wants to watch it faster they can just hit the speed button and make it faster i guess i need to make a video and show people how to do that for the complainers .. have a wonderful week sorry i was slow answering you but a fall had my hands messed up ...

Don’t let people who are unsatisfied with what you do bother you. None of us are perfect and they fail to know they are not perfect either. You gave us a lot of information and enjoyed knowing I could use glycine. I live way out in country and don’t always like to go into town. It is great to know it works so beautifully. I am sorry about your hands will pray for you and know you are just right. God didn’t make a mistake when He made you, you are perfect the way you are and I am one who needs it slow. I learn more through slow and show. Thank you again

thanx 4 this video, but wouldn't it be easier to let the inkpad (verssfine or the glyserine) rest on your surface instead of holding it in your hand, you can also press harder ;-). Anyway, that is the way I always do it.

i am so sorry Becky but i have had surgery on both my hands and they are still numb 24/7 the muscles in both my arms is like hamburger because work comp kept pushing me to do more until it destroyed my arms then after about 5 years of pain in desperation i let a neurosurgeon that must have been giving a kick back to my pain doctor fuse the 3rd, 4th and 5th vertebra in my neck they both knew it was not going to help me because when the surgeon came in hospital room the next morning to release me said well if you are not better right now you are not likely to get better because it really was not that bad in there .. in his haste to get away from me ... i was just a little pissed... he did not tell me that i should not be doing any kind of activity where my neck was not stable ... like riding a old wooden roller coaster with my great grandson while the recording Kept yelling "fire in the hole" and scared this poor 5 year old so bad i just had to hold on tight to him so tight until about the 13th ride when i felt my neck snap and it broke 1 of the screws that is holding the metal plate in my neck ... the way the new surgeon wanted to fix it was remove the plate with the 1 good screw holding it in place and the broken screw that is still rolling around in there and put a rod down my spine I told him i thought would just continue with a loose screw the rest of my life... so when people tell me i have a screw loose i can just agree with them.. now sweetie i am sure it has taken me about 30 minutes to get this typed out i hope you take 2 or 3 to read it .. i do want to thank you for stopping by and checking out my video that may save a few dollars should you try it.. i hope now that you will take good care of yourself so you don't end up old and woe out.... and i wish you a wonderful day ..
