I have the 4 glycine (two more combat sub coming in that I got got $299 each) , 3/4 are combat subs, I have the goldeneye, blue dial bronze, and the drop exclusive vintage Brown dial bronze, in addition to the double 12. Love all 4 of them and there's why I am getting two more combat subs. For under $300 these watches are a steal

Last month my Costco had a blue dial/bezel stainless case and bracelet Combat Sub with lot of lume on the dial for 299.00 and I talked myself out of it because I really didn't need another watch and another diver at that! Thought about that night and was at Costco next morning 9.00am waiting for them to open and the watch was gone!!! Moral of the story is if you find a watch you like at a really good price... BUY IT, you can always worry about the small stuff later!!

Truly one of the best made, all Swiss, underrated tool watches of all time - period. I have two bronze (would sell one- stateside), and one in SS w/ blue bezel insert (that’s my Black Bay Blue stand-in!).

Got my GL0076 several months back at Costco for $299 it keeps great time and is a keeper. Got. UncleSeiko razor wire bracelet for it.

I have a similar one but without the yellow accents (0096) and I love it. Yes the face is really easy to see. Great watch in all facets. I have an Airman also, but I actually like the Combat Sub better.

The only gripe I have with any combat sub is the hollow end links, why, why, why don’t they just put solid end links on it?

I have got to stop putting these in my shopping cart and not pulling the trigger! Is the bracelet top of the line? Because if the bracelet is pretty bad than I will just get one on a rubber strap/nato. That is one good looking "murdered out" watch! Always seem to be performing well on timegrapher too! LastOfADyingBeard great bracket. I have the blue bezel, black dial stainless sub. It came with a canvas ban but I ordered a normal OEM bracelet. Push out links but they’re solid. Way better than using a straight end link bracelet.

@@Inkushu Thats very refreshing to hear. With the number of little details that go into the Glycine combat subs; it's surprising that more people don't own them. They tick off a lot of the boxes that really matter to collectors and enthusiasts. Plus, I really like that they have drilled lugs making it a strap monster!

@Motor City Cobra Luckily for me the sweet spot is around 42-44mm as I have an 8" wrist. So even a 42 looks kinda small on my wrist. I know I have seen some 48mm combat subs for sale on eBay but, I am afraid to purchase from some of the "licensed sellers" on eBay b/c I have a fear of them being from some unknown original source. I know Gnomon watches sells Glycine as well as the actual Glycine website. I wish I would've pulled the trigger when costco had the combat sub for 299$ That would've been a steal!

I have wrist size of about 6.75", can speak about ones with a bracelet but all 3 of my combat subs with straps and my double 12 all fit well on my wrist!

What’s with the pins in the bracelets of these Glycine combat subs? They’re WAY too tightly inserted and near impossible to reinsert fully once removed. I’ve seen an individual bracelet link partially separate from the force required to try and get a pin reinserted. Fatal flaw if one needs to size a bracelet. It’s a shame as the watches themselves are really nice with a great case, movement, bezel, sapphire crystal etc

I agree, this is the one of the best looking Combat Sub colour options. I just don’t like the hands on this example as much as the broader ‘post’ style found on a few of the other colours out there. Nonetheless, it is definitely on my wish list.
