A circular route starting at Ogwen Cottage National Trust car park. I followed the path up to Llyn Idwal, the views open up behind you back to Pen Yr Ole Wen. From Llyn Idwal I followed the path up through Devil's Kitchen to the stile in the wall - don't forget to look behind you as the views really do open up. Once over the stile I headed towards Llyn Y Cwn - taking the path to the left just before you hit Llyn Y Cwn. The path up is steep and there is a lot of loose scree, so be careful. The path does level out and starts to become more of a boulder field as you head to the summit of Glyder Fawr, from the summit there are amazing views across to Snowdon. I then headed across towards Glyder Fach, taking in Castell Y Gwynt (Castle of the Wind) first. After summiting Glyder Fach I then dropped down to the cantilever stone, which I had all to myself. I then followed the path to the right (there is a path to the left which leads to a very steep loose scree slope, on for the brave to attaempt) to the stile in the wall near Tryfan and once over followed the path back down to the car park.
