Wow, a keyboard amp review where someone actually plays the keyboard instead of talking for 6 minutes. Thank you. I was about to abandon all hope.

haha thanks for persevering. I can sum it up even more quickly in just two words and a smiley face: Great amp :)

I recommended one for a school. I was the one who purchased it in behalf of the school, I was well impressed by the volume and the sound quality in a 4kg pack. That was in 2017(newly released). Since then I was planning to upgrade from my heavy Yamaha KS50 KB(which in paper outputs the same 50watts).

I agree, the performance to weight ratio is pretty astounding.

I bought last year the vox adio air guitar amp. Its wild looking but it is a great amp. I have high hopes for this. I may need this for my synths. Great video. Thanks (Edited for fat fingered mistakes)

Found these by accident when looking for good speakers for my home Keyboard and the additional stage Piano. First i was going for 2 Studio monitors 'til i saw these. Then i read bout the development of "nutube", amazing. Think the box fits in furniture as well as on stage. Price is equal to monitors, so lets buy two, for Stereo and two Keyboards😅👍😎

I am searching a lightweight amplifier for my Hotone Ampero effects pedalboard in the range of 50w. Do you think it would be suitable for it?
@gearfacts2 жыл бұрын
No, it's not as loud as a 50 wat amp. Maybe one of Behringer's KX series would be good, they're powerful, affordable and deliver a very transparent sound so you'll get a truthful image of what your Hotone is doing.

I’m looking at both a keyboard amp & an acoustic guitar amp (I know there’s a separate acoustic amp as part of this range) could the keyboard one cover for both applications?
@gearfacts3 жыл бұрын
I've never tried it with acoustic guitar, but I'd be very surprised if it was anything less than excellent. It's such a good amp. Maybe the acoustic version just provides some effects, but what you need is maximum input channels. So I think the VK50KB would be a great investment :)
@jameswood39773 жыл бұрын
Thanks sorry only just seen your reply I decided on the Roland KC 220 in the end yeah lot more expensive but prefer the build quality and it’s greater flexibility

Sir... Plz give me idea..... High definition home theatre or amplifier..... Which will be best for my keyboard???..... I am confused between this two
@gearfacts4 жыл бұрын
Well first of all I'd say that it's very easy to over-think these kind of questions. They'll both sound good. I guess if stereo is important to you though, I'd go for the home theater. We're still using the Vox amp here in the studio and loving it. Crystal clear, zero noise, looks great. But for stereo we'd need to buy a second one. Hope that helps :) Gearfacts
@donaldfewell89082 жыл бұрын
2 maybes: run either your home theater into the amp, or maybe from the amp into your receiver for lush bass. if you have a compressor /limiter, it'll protect your theater speakers, just check it out with others first. (I'm a keyboardist, not very tech-savvy or knowledgeable.) Best wishes!

Would this be good for a Korg Polysix and A Roland Juno-6? Just need something simple to replace my 2009 Behringer.
@gearfacts Жыл бұрын
Yep. As long as you don't need to go super-loud. It's loud enough for practice, and the reproduction of sound is just superb.

Have you try the roland kc80 cause I'm curious how it compares since it's a 50 watts also
@gearfacts Жыл бұрын
They are very different amps, the KC series is more suited to keyboard and has no amp modelling (as far as I know) but they are louder and more truthful to the input sound.

@@gearfacts That would be awesome. I have a Kb1 that I bought used. It's built pretty solid, gets "loud enough", but it sounds pretty hollow/tinny. I'm looking for something with some better defined/warmer bass tones. I can't find the VOC VX50KB in store anywhere local to try it out.

@gearfacts2 жыл бұрын
hmm, nah not really. I mean it would sound nice and crisp but I'd rather go for something that had some onboard effects to try out. I'd recommend trying a Fender Mustang GT40, they have a similar core tone to this one (and similar price), but much more in the way of effects.
