Jan never quite understood that first question about chess generations. Judit Polgar and Peter Svidler are both born in 1976, so a few years before Jan. Kazimzhanov shares Jan's birth year of 1979. Aronian is a few years younger, born in 1982.

I met Abdu and Abasov when they were still kids and somehow disliked both, but they're both improving as public personas and Abdu, frankly, is WC material, as fierce as Magz and Kasparov.

@@TCS088 "He didn't beat Magnus in the same format as the World Championship uses." -LOLOLOL doesn't matter, giving more time would only make the winner more accurate, Hans has a plus 3 score on Magnus. And your gunna get mad because you know im right and your wrong "I've already answered your other question." -??? you answered "He just isn't good enough to be World Chess Champion" when the fact is that he did beat Magnus, so thats means your wrong, and then you said, "Neither am I." which you did not answer. are you in the top 100?

Ben has sold out to Chessable. The only way to be a guest on the podcast is to have a course on Chessable, it seems.

Possible. Also possible that Chessable has bought everyone in chess. There’s so little money in chess, that everyone with a recognizable name makes a Chessable course to put food on the table.

@@mcronrn This is the real reason. If you are somebody in chess, the easiest way right now to make some income is a chessable course.

This is just so false lol. It just so happens that many interesting figures in the chess world that are prominent have chessable courses. He interviews plenty of people who don’t have them, and go figure - you’ve never heard of them.
