classic thank you Grand Master mark shuey for sharing your experience, I have noticed because of osteoarthritis, hip injuries, knee joint issue, aging , and disability, I have seen the cane in martial arts movies ,but didn't see it as a shield or defense and I understand that it can be used against you for defending yourself legally, but we are in violent times and these days are survival against pretator and prey , it's nice this teaching is available, classic

I have tried to find classes in the Fort Worth area and so far, have not found any. We still have dog attacks occasionally and can spin my cane adaquately enough to fend off a dog attack.
