Discovering this a few years after you posted, I'm really grateful for this insightful video. And it got me smiling around 1.27 when you explained you invented Qc7 yourself after Bc4. I had the same experience a few months ago and was really pleased I found this move in a position that was unknown for me. It got me just a draw though

My problem is that as a Kan player, I'm constantly running into the delayed alapin, where I have to enter that e6 and d6 line you keep mentioning slightly favors white. I can't avoid it with the rossolimo, or the O'Kelly because both take me out of the Kan if white goes for 3 d4. I guess there's no other remedy?

48:21 On the Lichess DB there's a game where Black followed the correct line up to 16...e5 only to resign before White's move! I wonder if they checked the Stockfish Eval afterwards...
