Gm is not afraid of changed they just realize Level 5 self driving is impossible and only street shuttles are possible even Wamyo gave up on replacing private drivers.Also you two ignored the fact that Wamyo is still weather limited and dirt on the cameras can cause issues. they are also mostly controlled by a control centre also at least two to three cases of Waymo ai bricking at a interchange. Sorry but you guys are a walking talking ai investment ad.

Even if autonomy only gets to level 4.9 in the next ten years, it will still save thousands of lives and prevent hundreds of thousands of injuries. (4.9 being a number I just made up, meaning it works flawlessly in everything but extreme edge cases)
