I'm VERY GLAD that finally *AN AFRICAN PERSON* can teach our illiterate population that AFRICA HAVE CITIES JUST LIKE THOSE IN THE UNITED STATES AND EVEN BETTER AND MORE EXPENSIVE TO LIVE THAN ANY CITY IN THE UNITED STATES!* Africa is not just poor people living in huts. *Africa Is Not A Country!* *Africa Is A Continent!* That's why I'm proud and happy to see such a young man.

Kimmy Howell Ah, I see. But as I wrote there are countries who are influenced by the USA and this handshake is something I have never seen anywhere else than in US- films. I life in a European country and unfortunately the US- American influence here is so strong that it seems to be only a matter of time until we become the 51. federal state of the USA. That handshake might make it over here soon, too.

(Some people are like that, but plenty of others want to live with the person they are in a relationship with; people have different characters.) I apologize for all the bad things I said about Trevor regarding being successful on TDS. He's eclipsed Piers Morgan +made the space his own. It does help that we are in trying times and Trevor's perspective is rich. Delivery is everything and he manages to speak the truth in a way that's respectful. Kudos. Cheers!

Trust me on this. I got the book started reading it, and then I saw several users comment that you absolutely have to hear Trevor reading it.No I usually actually prefer reading a book to myself, but like anything else he touches it is absolutely golden!! I highly recommend listening to it even if you started reading it. I played it from the beginning, including what I had already read. It was a totally different feel through his voice and memory!

Teri Henri Africans do that yes, but it's just to tell you that you look good not to make fun of you. Like where I'm from, if you married a skinny girl and two years after she's still skinny then they make fun of you for not being able to feed her. At least that was the mentality times ago. It's no longer the case today and I don't think it's better because that's put to much pressure on people and they become obsessed about how they look.

Imagine how my class felt in school, 15 yrs of age moved to the US and now in the middle of taking a test, i raised my hand and asked the teacher in a semi whispered voice, "Do you have a Rubber I can use"? The entire class gasp for a breath, the sound of chairs scraped the floors and lots of mumbling. I wondered why were they all in my business, like damn, what? lol.. Yeah the teacher was hella confused, turned Red and twitching in her seat like i asked her how babies were made... I am still thinking, "WTH is going on here?" its a simple question..right?......NOPE... they were all thinking "why is she asking for a condom and FROM THE TEACHER?!!!!" Soooooo, i found out I should have asked for an eraser......, hahahahaha... im still tickled about that day.. we all got a good laugh. ohhhhhhh a rubber is a condom here.. hehehe

I think only US uses ‘eraser’. Most other countries, esp Great Britain and colonized countries, say ‘rubber’. But now many ppl have caught on and say ‘eraser’.

I remember Jon Stewart introducing Trevor as the new host for The Daily Show. It was AWK-WARD !!! Trevor had not found his footing yet. Asked about how Trevor would do in his place, Jon simply said, "Oh, he''ll be fine." One should really pay attention to Jon . He's generally right.

I like the fact that he keeps away from profanity as much as possible in his work. You can watch his shows with the rest of the family without fear. Unlike some other comedians who use obscene language. Big up Trevor

I'm a HUGE fan of Trevor Noah. My hubs and I PVR his show every day (it's on too late at night) so we can have a good laugh every weekday! Laughing is truly the best medicine and he is hilarious, plus he always has such a positive message in his comedy.

When Trevor's African people told him he was fat, it wasn't so-called 'fat-shaming', and neither was it taken as being fat-shamed. With the insecure european people of much ill-will in America, almost everything is about spite, when it is not the occasional praise. Almost nothing in european-influenced America is ever about 'tell it like it is', just for truth sake and without commentary - positive or negative.

Margin Treno. To answer your post from a year ago, I hope you have gotten to know more about Trevor Noah. His is a heartwarming story of humble, complicated beginnings, a wonderful mom, a sunny outlook, ability to "take lemons and make lemonade". Born poor, but lucky to be surrounded by love and guidance, and intelligence and curiosity.

Anyone else liked the way the lady who interviewed Trevor burst out laughing as they welcomed him after he said, “Only Potatoes!” in the clip they showed 😁 It was like she was caught by surprise by Trevor’s humour 😊
