This author is missing the point and it has to color the perspective he has about "gay Washington" since he suggests there is "no evidence" that J. Edgar Hoover was gay. He said that in another interview I saw posted on KZbin. Makes me question anything else he might say or write. The knowledge of his sexuality is how the mob controlled him. I personally don't have any doubts about Hoover's sexuality because I knew one of his best friends and confidants. Our mutual friend told me from her first hand knowledge and there is plenty of other evidence/testimony out there by people who knew him. Not sure why this author wants to ignore all that's out there. Hoover was an evil, hateful government official who did all he could to hurt and control so many, including gay people...and, he was gay.

This author does not claim that J Edgar Hoover was not gay. What he does say that there is no evidence to the popular rumor that Hoover was a crossdresser (as in transvestite). James Kirchick is the first to say that there is certainly circumstantial evidence that J Edgar Hoover was gay.

it's a simple concept basic logic if life is not free why the hell would death be any cheaper it's not. So the question one may wonder is the spiritual cost to one's own soul and spirit for having lived and died to the lowest standards of quality for so many years now global pollution has diminished the quality of life to the point where today's people are living, dying and yielding the worst spiritual kickback that has ever been manifested since the beginning of life only getting worse. The polar opposite extreme to that is today's people should be living and dying to the highest standards of quality which would make each and every moment physically, mentally, financially and spiritually beneficial. Once upon a time being gay lesbian bisexual heterosexual was one of the best sins against power personified over life death soul and spirit. As of now based off the majority of the population is not even spiritually recognized as a physical mental financial spiritual possibility so nobody feels alone that goes for almost all marriages between man and woman especially the 65% that end in divorce here in America. And singles don't have it much better if at all. These points have been scientifically classified religiously verified. In layman's terms no one can express or receive love or any other heart filled desired emotion in its entirety if they don't know themselves. So one needs to learn their own bodies capabilities and limitations by fully engaging with all their body senses to their extreme limits in the most efficient way that is humanly possible for only at this level of body awareness does one constantly consistently have the self control discipline loyalty devotion appreciation respect confidence playful determination to become physically fit mentally sound spiritually balanced being able to express physical freedom which is key for one to start living up to the pleasure potential responsibility of femininity and masculinity. At that point being consciously aware physically prepared to validate and confirm signifying one as being true towards love honor in the creation of life.. In the way of marriage being a mother father parents guardian and caretaker's this greatest most pleasurable of all responsibility should instinctively include a method of parenting that will greatly increase the chances of newborn baby toddler young child teenager growing up and developing maturing into a strong confident healthy successful fun loving adult that can intelligently joyfully make their way through life as a single"married"leading or simply just being a healthy happy productive part of a massive group which is society. Option two alone not quite as exciting physically mentally financially spiritually beneficial. Nonetheless a quantum leap in progress from the way the mass majority that has been since the dawn of creation were so here in America even more specifically current today Donald Trump and like-minded have been lacking. Which is to have had the wisdom and knowledge physical capabilities of being able to ground and pound slip and grip into paradise so intensely intimately that it gets the soul and spirit off with no negativity attached maybe even in the free and clear.
