There is a neglect of duty evident in this proceeding. Senator Miriam Santiago is clearly exercising her duty as the chair of the commission of appointments. She even stressed that the personalities in the public hearing represented the pillars of the government. There is a fault in reference in Farinas' motion as the proceeding is clearly a public hearing. A waste of time is a waste of money. To wait for persons who were elected to represent their constituencies and who were unable to come on time for the hearing is clearly a neglect of duty. What we see here, hence, is a protestation of a learned person who knows the law which precisely mandates her to exercise her duty. Her move is valid as it is a good counterclash against that horrid tardiness or inabsentia of those who have duped to believe for and in themselves that they are a special creature who can easily railroad the mandate of law according to personal interest and wishlist.

Indeed. The best president we never had. But "blessing" in disguise ang di nya pagka-panalo sa 2016 election, though she's great, kasi pumanaw sya several months after the presidential election. If nanalo sya dun tapos na-vacate ang position so si Leni sana naging president natin ngayon and nahulog na naman tayo sa dilawan. How dare you trying to speak for a dead person, putting words in her mouth when she can no longer defend herself. That's unfair! We humans could barely know what sort of things run in the minds of other people who are alive; let alone someone who is dead. We know very well that she hated Aguirre, but there are infinite possibilities of her changing her mind. Anything can change in an instant. It's almost impossible to tell whether she'd have a change of mind or not, whether she'd still be in Senate or not. It turns out she had cancer, ran for the presidency, and the rest is history.
