The Data Insights official book has only DS questions; however, this book has a "code" (that you can reveal by scratching) that gives you online access to 200+ Data Insights questions of all categories (not just limited to DS).

Interesting times for the GMAT. Just a small fyi to everyone that the main Official Guide 2023 doesn't have a single "fresh" question. Not sure if this applies to the others but fair to say it wouldn't be surprising.

I do have a question if someone minds answering and guiding me. So the bundle is 4 books: verbal, Quant, Data insight, and the yellow color book. I am trying to get a plan ready for myself. What is the goal of the Yellow official guide book? Is it worth taking a lot of time to read it or should I jump straight into the last 3 books(quant, verbal, and data)? I am really just trying to figure out if the yellow book is worth anything because the other 3 all go over each section making me think that the yellow book isn't worth much except repeating concepts from the other book. Pls someone help me decide if I jump straight into the 3 books or if I still read the yellow one? Thanks a lot!!!!

I would actually start with the yellow book, and treat the other three books as supplements to use as required (if I need to practice more questions and gain more experience with the material - depending on my target score).

Is there a matrix of gmat scores already, as for what combination of results would bring which final score?

No, test prep companies use score reports of their students in order to come up with that matrix, so I don't expect to see one before 2024.

Thanks for sharing your impressions. I see that (online/mobile) is written on the books. Is this only for questions or do the hard-copy books also come with an ebook access to study on the laptop? Thanks

On the front cover there's an access code for an online question bank. So, not an ebook.

IR is still there, it just got folded into Data Insights together with DS.

That’s correct - no book has IR practice - you can only do that online at mba.com

I’m not sure about that. One benefit of getting the GMAT Focus material is the questions that you WON’T see (geometry).

hello avi thanks for the video. Can we have access to the e-book from the books you show on the video ? Sometimes i like to switch from the physical material to the e-book. is this possible ?

Unfortunately I believe the ebook versions must be purchased separately.

Quant only has Arithmetic and Algrebra? Can you confirm that?

If you mean no geometry, trigonometry, calculus, etc then yes, I can confirm that. Keep in mind, you'll be tested on divisibility and remainders, combinatorics and divisibility, ratios, word problems, etc.
