I made it to 4,000 miles on my Ultimate before the engine failure. GMC = (General Mess of Crap) Replacement engines are hard to find. Lucky me

They did replace the engine at no cost to me and they did cover the rental. I was without my truck for about 1 month. I am now wondering if this will show up on a future CarFax report and effect the resale value.@@willwin43

LOVE the interior. Goodness gracious, not every interior needs to be straight black black black blackity black black. LOL Although I didn't test drive it, I've sat in a Denali Ultimate twice and it felt very upscale to me on the refresh look. I feel like the seats are done very well compared to just another black leather variant. 10 out of 10 on the interior for ME. Results may vary

@@PimpSolja49 Yeah I don't care for beige interiors AT ALL! Not even on a Ferrari. I went and looked at an Ultimate again today. The leather has a rich color, almost a brick tone. It worked very well against the silver and white exterior color trucks that I sat in.

If I’m paying that much, I’m going for Ford; on-board payload scale, full recline seats, panoramic sunroof. But the Sierra could be a close second.

As if a *panoramic sunroof* is the standout feature that warrants an actual premium. You will find those in Camrys and Malibus. As far as a _full reclining seat_ the GMC Sierra has had that since 1992. It’s similar to the RAM fans trying to convince everyone a rear ventilated seat should be their make-or-break feature, cause an owner just can’t live without.

First of all, thanks for this review because there is literally nobody who can show cars even 10% as good as you do. I'm driving a Mercedes SUV and never drove a pickup truck before but need something bigger for a family. Don't want any soccer mom van and stuff. Is a cheaper model a good option?

I just got my 2022 GMC Sierra Denali and the family loves it! I have 2 kids under 4 so with strollers and all the other shit we constantly need to pack, there’s endless amounts of space in the bed of the truck, which has the tonneau cover so everything stays dry. And then when the need comes for a truck, you have a pickup truck! Best of both worlds IMO

New to the channel, great reviews guys some of the best I've seen but you ALL miss something. I own a 2022 Denali Ultimate with the 3.0L Diesel. lots to love but the one thing no one EVER talks about is the BS subscription service you need to actually run all the infotainment features and Super Cruise. Why? Ya I know stop your whining, In Theary what's the big deal, well try living with it. I come from a 2021 F150 Ltd. no subscription needed, I had a 2019 Ram Ltd. no sub needed for their truck. I hate the fact that GM makes me do this, and ya i know AA works in lue of but I didn't buy a $103,000.00 CAD truck to use AA. Canadians are so screwed we have to pay $17/month for 1.5G or $44/month for 5G or what i just tried $80 for 11G..... Don't like it, it burns data at an unreal pace, in the US you can get an unlimited plan for $30 bucks that I'd be ok to pay, I guess. I really wanted to love the truck but I'll be going back to a 2024 F150 Ltd when they get released. If GM doesn't address this. That Diesel though is unreal, the milage is out of this world, I can get 40mpg on the highway at 115 - 120k/hr. Why EV, go Diesel!!

@@baldy385 The Ram is a very nice truck. The ride is softer then the Denali and I found the towing mileage in the Ram to be much better (V8) then the Ford Powerboost (Turbo). This is based on a run from Barrie Ontario to Orlando Florida towing an enclosed trailer with two bagger Harleys. We took the same route each time. Taking the GM 3.0 Deisel down in 3 weeks. Also the interior of the Ram is a step up from Ford and GM. After living with all three I would rate the Ford and Ram very close with GM trailing in third. Bunch of little things in the GM that are fails. For example, no sunglass holder, very dark interior at night, the led cab lights come on very slowly when you open the doors. The fogs have to be turned on everytime you get in the truck. Small sun roof and finally the wireless charger is so weak that while charging the phone battery it will contine to lose power while using AA and Spotify on the phone, it also stops charging all the time if the phone isn't in the perfect spot. I'm fortunate that I can swap trucks every 12 to 18 months so when GM updated their interior I wanted to try it, love the looks of the truck. But I'm going to be jumping back to the Ford, maybe the Ram if they are putting a new engine in the truck for 2024, l just like trying new things. Cheers

Anyone else have problems with the climate control? I have a 23 Ultimate and when I set the temperature to a certain temp, and then press the "auto" button, it should maintain that same temperature regardless. However that is not the case with my truck. Sometimes it is cold and sometimes it is really hot, even though I have not touched anything. Very frustrating to purchase an expensive truck and having unnecessary problems. I've brought it to the dealer and they say everything is working fine. NOT SO

It’s so much on this truck that ain’t on any RAM or top of the line Ford. I mean I know RAM has copied their rearview camera mirror tech, and now Ford is etching topography maps inside woods nowadays - but it still doesn’t have the fit and finish of the GMC Sierra, and the RAM is still way behind in tech. The Sierra boasts a Android/Google based UX, a semiautonomous driving system available while you’re towing, and I think it’s design is the best.

The GMC Ultimate should have been all chrome. The regular Denali should have been the vader chrome because silver chrime is more luxurious than vader chrome. Dark chrome looks cheap just like black wheels on vehicles.👎

Denali less than a year old. Nothing worked, so I applied for emergency service, but the dollar only told me to wait 2 months. What do you have to ride in the meantime... this is the reality gmc customer services. I want to know who want have this g!m!c! Plz help what i can do..this only action i can make
