Michael Jackson - 30th Anniversary Celebration Concert | (GMJHD)

The 30th Anniversary Special is a musical revue show by Michael Jackson. It was held at Madison Square Garden in New York City on September 7 and 10, 2001. In November 2001, CBS aired the two concerts as a two-hour special honoring Jackson's 30th year as a solo artist. The show was edited by combining footage of the two concerts into a whole special.
Note: The audio on half the show is removed, as well as this video does not include the ending performance of "You Rock My World" due to copyright reasons.

Im 62 years old, and run a wedding and DJ business on the weekends. Im sitting here watching the legend himself perform, and cannot tell you how much I miss this man and his live performances. Michael truly was a phenomenal performer, and knew how to entertain. I was just 8 years old when I Want You Back came out..i played it at least a hundred times over and over again on my 45 rpm record player, singing the words...Michael will always be the King of Pop. His music is always requested at wedding receptions, and people of all ages love to dance to his songs. I grew up with the man and his music..got to witness his creative talent and his brothers all who are also blessed...Im glad that this is archived for future generations to witness why our generation was so bad ass...Thank You Michael Jackson for your love and generosity..you truly are and still are one of a kind.

The music was playing in the mall then all of a sudden the news came on and announced MJ was dead. I tell you the whole mall stopped functioning and people were crying every where. Im 18 now, i remember the year he passed, he was my idol, I’ve recently started to learning more about him because I only knew the performer, not the man. I’ve grown to appreciate him so much more and everyday it breaks my heart to know that he’s no longer here, but at the same time he’s getting some well deserved rest after working tirelessly for decades. I never understood women crying and fainting at concerts when I was a kid, I was obsessed with Michael Jackson growing up and even to this day I still love his music and will always support him and honor his legacy (I refuse to let a bunch of con-artists who exploit people for money - to ruin MJ for me) but now as an adult and knowing I never got the chance to see him live I can admit without a shadow of a doubt if I was ever given the chance to see him perform live just once, if probably ball my eyes out....
