got the same issues on my ice white's pcb. my alu plate also got scratches and dented

yeah i would really be unhappy with dents in particular, its not a super expensive keyboard but its also not cheap by any means

how did you fix that 3rd party volume knob? what sizes fit?

it's just a stock Fender Stratocaster volume knob. This is slightly larger, so you have to put something inside such as paper or hot glue depending on how permanent you want it to be. For a permanent mod I'd go with hot glue, then slide it in when it starts to set, wait for it to dry and you will still be able to pull it out because hot glue doesn't stick well to metal. You can put a bit of oil on the metal prior to this to make it easy.
