Let’s remember Yotha never had an example of a healthy romantic relationship growing up, and has repeatedly experienced abandonment before, so it’s only to be expected that he lacks the emotional maturity to understand his own feelings and thus understand others’ as well, he needs to figure out himself before compromising to a relationship, this however doesn’t justify leading Gun on or indirectly hurting him but to become the self aware simp he is in the future he has a lot of growing to do first.

The way this series described Yotha's lack of love, social norm and affection attitude perfectly😢 He didn't know how to love, how to apologize, how to communicate. He lives a sad and empty life. I get it how he made Warich his whole world while they're together. Warich is probably the only one who really taught him abt feelings. No wonder he still feels guilty for destroying Yotha's world. With Gun, Yotha started to learn new things and feelings, considering how different Gun is from Warich. He learns to take care of someone else, he learns to feel relaxed, he also learns to open his heart for friendship. Soon he'll learn how to communicate to avoid misunderstanding too. Because in his mind right now, he thought Gun is angry and scared because of the fighting thing. Also, Gun, dear, be honest with Yotha. Tell him the truth and ask him abt it. He said he'd never lie to you. Trust him.

I didn't know santa that well beforehand, I knew of him but never watching anything he was in. I'm pleased to see how good of an actor he is, even with this quite simple-plot and writing, his portrayal of gun's emotions were quite believable and it wasn't cringey whatsoever. I think perth & santa will play off eachother well in whatever future roles they have. they're both very strong actors, and someone that can keep up with perth's level of acting is a great sign. side note; i love faifa he's the goat, i love how he's gun safe space and i also like how for yotha - arm is someone who is not necessarily his safe space per se, but more so someone who is reliable and trustworthy for him, which is really sweet to see. W showcase of friendships this episode!

The first time you can still see a bit of playful mischievousness in Gun eyes which is lacking this time around.

I'm here to add some details from the novels that may have been amended or changed. It may be slight spoilers so do avert your eyes if you do not want know. 1. Instead of the Newton bar fight scene you see here, Klao actually 'kidnapped' Gun because Klao wanted to teach a lesson to Yotha for messing with his bf but Yotha reached in time to save Gun. This is where Gun figured out Yotha used to have a relationship with Wa. There was no kiss scene between Yotha and Wa. Klao also added fire the fuel by saying Yotha lingers around the bar (to break up others) as an act to be close to Wa, finding his chance to break up them and get back together with Wa, even though it wasnt true and was just Klao overthinking. 2. The incident where Yotha got ambushed by the attackers were a seperate fight all together. He was ambushed ALONE. But it did happen right before Klao kidnaps Gun, so Yotha appeared with injuries when saving Gun. 3. The end result is the same where Gun finally realises Yotha's world is so much more different then he imagined. We can see this in episode 13 [3/4], where Gun explains all the things he wasnt ok with - the fights, the ex relationship and how he feels heartbroken despite being just 'roommates' with him (Gun doesn't feel like he had the right to be jealous or angry because they arent dating/bf yet). So the storytelling made Klao lesser of an asshole which I personally grateful for because there's no justification for Klao (actual decent char) to kidnap someone unrelated between their fights with Yotha/Wa/Klao. Luckily in the novel, Klao comes back to apologise to Gun for the kidnapping. However without the kidnapping, this means the script writers had to make Gun figuring out the Wa was Yotha ex with this... kiss scene? Nonetheless, I've grateful for Santa's superb acting regardless of the script.
