2017 Original a love so beautiful - Jiang chen ( Ken ) Is cold hearted, un approachable, Introverted, Non affectionate, Non chalant 2024 - Chadjen ( Ambivert, has more closure to female lead, Know each other since childhood ) a far different from original version we're Chen xiaoxi ( Zoey ) met him in a bookstore, helping child. I love the way they changed the whole story, it's unique in a way they make it unpredictable and make us more hype and excited on what's this thailand version will bring us! salute to gmmtv. May Prim and Dew give justice to our Jiangchen and Chen xiaxi. ( Solid fan of alove so beautiful since 2018 ) I miss them so much ❤

Just a little correction, although this version definitely portrayed them closer and giving us more glimpses of them as childhhod friends which I love, Jiangchen and Xioxi have known each other as long as this version and I think they've always been neighbors since they were babies lol. Xioxi has said they've always been classmates since pre-school. I think it's only in the bookstore where she fell in love with him. Also, yes, I love how they made Chadjen softer here as it gives a new take, but I see no problem with Hu Yi Tian's version in any way. It's actually really cute in the Chinese version how we see him soften more and more as the story progress while knowing since episode 1 that he always cared for her (in secret at first until he started realizing it himself too and was obvious at the end lol), and being cold and nonchalant was just him building walls to protect his heart from his abandonment issues where Xioxi broke into. Honestly, both versions are great in their own right and it's nice to always see a new perspective

Honestly, it's so cute seeing them being close childhood friends more often (THEY'RE ALSO CHILDHOOD FRIENDS IN THE OG BTW IN CASE ANYONE FORGOT). Also, her parents questioning Chad Gen while knowing what he's supposedly thinking (due to the credit scene in the Chinese version in the Christmas episode it was in), already makes me grin lmao. In addition, although I'm not fond of Li Gen being a mean girl in this version (she was a misunderstood pressured young girl who just wants love in the og), but it is an interesting take. Instead of pitting the versions against each other, I'll definitely view it the HYD style, seeing each as their own ^^
