นักศึกษาหนุ่มไฟแรง ไรอัน (กัน อรรถพันธ์) ได้เข้ามาฝึกงานในตำแหน่งผู้ช่วยผู้กำกับ และได้เจอกับพี่เจน (ออฟ จุมพล) ผู้ช่วยผู้กำกับที่กลับทำให้คนไฟแรงอย่างไรอันหมดไฟได้ ซึ่งความทุกข์ในการฝึกงานของไรอันถูกระบายให้กับเพื่อนๆ นักศึกษาฝึกงานของปีนี้ที่มี บะหมี่ (พิพลอย กัญญรัตน์) ฝ่าย AE และเต้ (ซี ทวินันท์) ฝ่ายตัดต่อ คู่รักที่เลือกมาฝึกงานที่นี่เพราะอยากอยู่ด้วยกัน ป๋า (ปูน มิตรภักดี) ฝ่ายอาร์ต และ พาย (วิว เบญญาภา) ฝ่ายโปรดักชั่น แต่แล้วเมื่อไรอันได้ลองฝึกงานไปเรื่อยๆ กลับพบว่าพี่เจนก็เป็นคนใจดีกว่าที่คนอื่นคิดจนในบางครั้งไรอันเองก็เผลอใจเต้นไปด้วย และเกิดเป้าหมายคือจะต้องชนะใจพี่เจนให้ได้ ! ในการฝึกงานครั้งนี้จะเติมเต็มประสบการณ์การทำงาน หรือประสบการณ์หัวใจ ติดตามได้ใน “The Trainee ฝึกงานเทอมนี้ รักพี่ได้มั้ย”

I completely get why Jane is acting so strict with Ryan. He probably misunderstands that Ryan is just like a rich nepo baby who already has a huge family business and isn't actually serious about the internship. It doesn't help that Ryan is very obviously clueless 😅

Can we all just stop for a moment and appreciate how well the roles of everyone in this series are embodied? I love the acting skills of Off and Gun and am delighted to finally have a series with them again. I also love the humor of this show, it just lifts my mood on a Sunday night knowing I have to go to university tomorrow too. Also I love Off and Sea‘s hairstyle, especially Sea‘s curly hair and the glasses

This is going to be the funniest series GMMTV has ever produced. They've got me ROFL every five minutes. Gun as the overwhelmed and clueless waif drifting through the day is hilarious. Running out of space on his hand for the scenario and continuing to write up his arm is classic. I almost fell off my chair when Sea said, "I have bad eyesight." These cross references to other series (Gun is going to flip the cooking pan!) are tremendous insider jokes for us regular viewers. Of course, in this nutty universe, the guy with bad eyesight volunteers to shoot the scene. Like I said in my previous comment, this is shaping up to be a first-class "screwball comedy." Of course, I feel sad that Ryan is trying so hard, only to be smacked down by Jane. We know that's going to change, though. So far, a power-packed Ep 1.
