If you lock it in a box, leave it alone, and it easily escapes, then it's probably Keter. If it is the box, then it's probably Thaumiel. That way you still play a role of a D-class being a little lab rat, AND after you perish you take a role of a scientist who recorded and written down what happened to your previous self. If you love SCP, I'd recommend checking out this Korean indie game called 'Lobotomy Corporation'. It's essentially a management game where you manage a facility full of entities that would fit right alongside SCPs with how strange, outlandish, and freaky they can be. You won't know what anything is at first beyond a serial number and a short one or two sentence excerpt from it's log which is usually somewhat foreboding, and usually the only way to find out is by throwing your employees at them like hapless D-Class and praying they don't do something that sets it off. Just calling it 'Korean SCP' though would be doing it a bit of a disservice, as it does a lot of its own thing on top of all of that with a bunch of lore that's drip fed to you as you go through the game. It can also be brutally difficult at times, so if you wind up not playing it until the end then I won't blame you for that.

So, i've seen a couple of people mention it, but no one go into detail: The classifications of SCP dont neccessarily mean how deadly they are, but if they're easy to contain. There's three main levels and numerous offshoots, but here are the main 3 with examples. SAFE: Basically needs no containment procedure besides "put it in a box and dont touch it." There's no sentient life, or it doesn't self-activate, or it cant break its box by itself, or it doesnt want to escape. Numerous possible reasons for a SAFE rating. SCP 507, the reluctant dimension hopper, is a "SAFE" class SCP because while he escapes the containment facility randomly, is sentient, and self activates randomly, he actively attempts to reach foundation personnel after he rematerializes. This is due to the foundation providing guns, ammo, food, water, and utilities that keep him safe when he warps. He is friendly and never offers resistence to the foundation as they do everything they can to keep him, well, "SAFE". Euclid: Will attempt escape, inadvertantly or otherwise. Is likely sentient, or dangerous enough that it can break it's box and needs monitoring to ensure this doesnt occur. For example, SCP 173 is a statue that attempts to snap the neck of nearby personnel. Without constant surveilance and cleaning it will leak an acidic substance to wear its chamber down over time. Therefore, guards must keep an eye on 173 while janitors clean the substances it leaks in order to prevent errosion and escape. It moves at violently high speeds when unobserved as well. An acidic weeping angel. Keter: Is nearly impossible to contain. Extreme costs, long and dangerous rituals, state of the art technology, or even other SCPs are needed to keep them in check. Without 24/7 attention, upkeep, surveilance and care they are so dangerous they could not only break out of their chamber but end the world soon after, or never be caught again at minimum. It doesnt have be sentient, just so dangerous it WILL escape without perfect attention. Two examples of keters: SCP 106 is an old man that leaks a violently lethal and corrosive tar-like liquid, who kills people through prolonged torture in it's pocket dimension. It has the ability to phase through almost all matter, and it's containment procedure is suitably absurdly difficult to mantain: The brightest lights on earth shining on him 24/7, walls made of several different layers of corrosive-resistent solids and liquids, a magnetic forcefield around his cell to suspend it midair, and if all else fails a, D class wil be used as bait to lure him back to his chamber... by breaking their femur. SCP 871 is a cake that infinitely replaces itself and duplicates. It's duplicates will then duplicate again, and again, etc. If the cakes are not eaten they will be capable of ending the planet by botting the sun and smothering the entire landscape with cakes. Without feeding these cakes to people they will eventually easily outgrow their containment and break free via massive amounts of pressure until theres an pressurized explosion of cakes. If a cake is not eaten fast enough it gains the regenerating qualities of the original 871. There are hundreds of regenerating ones currently.

You're actually wrong about SCP-173. Post about it was made 13 days after Angels debut on Doctor Who.

So SCP-015 REALLY Hates tools... when i saw you enter with a flashlight, i asked myself: "is a flashlight a tool?", which instantly reminded me of my favorite question: "Is a hot dog a sandwich?"

432 is really fun with friends, you can spawn SNPCs that are SCPs and run around, it’s pretty fun

087 can be escaped from, it's just the entity inside it can sometimes appear behind the person, and their flight response in that scenario had them book it even further down the stairs, whereas if they saw it as they descended they'd all just sprint so hard to the top that some would nearly die from the exertion

Just watched the 087 one in my hotel room with the blinds open and the bright daylight shining in and I still got incredibly hard goosebumps.
