What you do with the frequency range is not a test. It is nonsense! You cannot test by ear with a sinusoid (this is done with stripes of pink noise), and you cannot do this at the same volume (read about "curves of equal loudness"). You are simply misleading your viewers. Correct or disappear!

Hey…you think KZbin will ever go 5.1 and above? 5.1 would be great.
I used this sound test to test the capabilities of the BTF-Lighting Colorful X2, which is a cool little "neopixel" LED strip controller which can accept an audio input. Turns out it does in fact respond to different frequencies, but also to the overall volume of those frequencies and possibly even to what frequency follows. Pretty cool. [EDIT] I also found out later that it only samples the left audio channel, it doesn't care about stereo. Which is not a point against it, it doesn't need to care about stereo. So you might wanna also pick up a simple stereo to mono mixer for it if you're thinking about buying one.

Amp pushes about 60 wpc. No sub on my system. Shakes the couch with out one, so Elac got clear, deep bass right. Being older I only hear to maybe 15khz, but still know what a real cymbal sounds like. I found you by searching how to test sound frequency. I firmly believe in what influence sound has on everything. Just an idea there are many channels here on KZbin that I was led to believe were of real listening value to enhance quality of needs: bone healing: Heart healing: energy clearing: attract abundance while you sleep: clear congestion head: clear migraines. We have been saturated with amature producers of these videos and 1) need a way to test authentic vibration. 2)ask you tube to monitor this a little more. I have health care education and also had bones to heal and grow quicker by this technique devuces put out by Medtronic specifically bone stimulator. Maybe you could put out mor video content regarding this subject. Thank you.
@GMODISM Жыл бұрын
Perhaps, you are right that some sounds like 25hz and 50hz help cats bones be denser and heal quicker, perhaps it works on humans too. Or it should. However many videos on KZbin does not have much of the claimed frequencies, and youtube can't transmitt all lower and higher ones because off technical limitations. Be aware that even though there are some facts with sounds healing effect, most meditation tracks on KZbin are just that: meditation music and may not provide anything more than that. Thanks for the topic, I'll look into this and might make a video in some weeks, so do subscribe if I can do it :)

It's funny I'm using a hella cheap gaming headset, quite impressive for the price like this to sound okay with all these tests🗿🗿
@Tyiriel4 жыл бұрын
Generally the problem with gaming headsets is that they last 6 months, and if they DO survive a full year, there's definitely something messed up with them (creaking, cable is all messed up, mic stopped or... THE DONGLE if there's one.) There's 2 things you notice when buying +- 150$ headphones instead, and that's: You don't really notice how "good" they sound in comparison until you use them for a day and then try your old pair out that now sound like absolute dogshit to the point where you're surprised you never noticed For some reason after 3 years you've never thought about replacing them, even though you averaged 3-6 headsets during the same timespan before Basically; It's not the "OMG I GOT HEADPHONES, WHAT SUPREME SOUND QUALITY" which makes them good, it's the fact that even though you're spending 2x the amount of cash, you're going to be saving money in the long run. - You also get a quite good mic (10x headset) that lasts at LEAST 5 years for 50$
@aabe11894 жыл бұрын
@@Tyiriel I have some dogshit cheap Sony headphones I've been using for the past 8~ years - they survived falling, being in my backpack (not often, I don't torture them) and the only thing I'd replace would be pads. Tho now I kinda wanna try buying some 175$ headphones, so let's see if they'll be as durable as mine were.

4:33 - This frequency sweep is actually to test speaker quality. It should really start from 20Hz and move up, but more slowly. You should be hearing for changes in volume. The less it changes volume the better. There is NO perfect speaker. I don’t know why it says “Should be no distortion” - that doesn’t make any sense.

I recently acquired a Hisense 5.1 system with which I am pleased.What I am annoyed with is the unnecessary music which seems to invade most programmes, especially films.I got this system to hear all the natural sounds but all to often these are drowned out by loud music stuck on by some stupid producer/director trying to build up excitement.We are not in the silent film era when a pianist brought added atmosphere to the proceedings.I want to hear natural sounds not loud, repetitive noise drowning them out. Discuss. End of rant.

If you mean FLAC vs MP3 the difference is easy to spot every time, unless the source music is not using acoustic instruments. Synthetic over compressed modern Pop, R&B, Rap etc is almost impossible to tell the difference .

@@EgoShredder But have you try encoding things yourself? otherwise you are most probably getting a low quality track rip from some webpage or video on KZbin (they trick you to think is a 320kb mp3 file).

@@ThunderKat Yep been encoding in just about every codec going since 2000, and have extensive recording studio / musician knowledge and experience back to the late 80s.. Even DSD / SACD files to playback on my SMSL M8 DAC. I avoid encoding things that have already been encoded previously like mp3. I can not listen to mp3 for long, as my ears find it thin, brittle and fatiguing with shrill highs, sucked out mids and woolly lows, and damaged and reduced stereo soundstage.
