Can’t wait for the sequences tutorial, I also bought your course on Udemy , wonder if you will add cutscenes and quest system to your course? will the sequences feature can also make cutscenes easier?

Sequences will definitely be great for cutscenes. And as for my crafting course, I may or may not do an update (leaning towards the former), as I'm focusing on creating a new course using 2.3 -- with the new GML, Sequences, curves, all that. But of course, I will keep making videos on this channel too, and they can easily be applied to my crafting course.

Hi I bought your course on udemy a few weeks ago I'm gonna start it this week, do you think I should use gm2. 3 so I get used to using it for when it's released or should I stay with gm2.2 for your course and worry about upgrading later.

Personally, I would start with GMS 2.3 as 2.2 is going to become deprecated later. But it's also fine if you decide to stick with 2.2, since the course itself also uses 2.2. Although if you do decide to go with 2.3 and it doesn't work out, you can always come back to the older version...

Hi! I have added an adjustment lecture to the course, to notify students of the major changes so that they don't face any issues (with scripts and rooms). Beyond that, I will not be adding 2.3-specific content to previous courses, because I need to focus on creating a new RPG course with the 2.3 version. I've been trying to purchase some courses from you on udemy. It states they're at a reduced price when I put them in my cart, but when I try and checkout, they made me sign up and said that price won't apply to me and I have to pay the full 70$+ for just one course. When I logout, the price is set back to the reduced price that "Ends in 5 hours" How can I get these courses for what they're being advertised at?

Hi :) I'm actually taking a break from working on updates for this Udemy course. GMS 2.3 came out in April (on beta) and once it comes to Stable it's gonna deprecate 2.2, and while the course will still work fine with 2.3, I have to focus on creating new content for the new, major release. Though despite that, I've still made a lot of updates to the course, which should be enough for now. :) Thanks for understanding!

@@GameMakerStation just in case you do come back to the course a nice idea would be like a forging event kinda how you placed the statue down. I'm working around this by using items to craft items like (copper ore, Forging hammer, Lava extract) to make copper bars. I'm converting it into an survival Rpg. Kinda feel like I just got a small piece of a pie but I guess i can't complain. I got it on sale.
